Don't even mention that the housing list on Fort Drum is close to 6 months long. The hotel business will always be consistent in this area, and is necessary for those families who are waiting to be housed on the base. Just remember: if Fort Drum left, many of the businesses that the natives enjoy would pack up and leave, and thousands of people in this area would lose their jobs.
