I've Said my peace. Do what you will, but the longer you keep him up, the longer it makes you appear as not so innocent in this whole case. Rather odd.

Just wondering why Cris Morin got 15 years Federal and Mark Cappione got 3 1/2 state for the EXACT same crime??????????
They were both charged with federal crimes. Marc was sentenced in Albany federal court. When an individual solicits a minor through the use of the internet, it is a federal crime. The circumstances were different in each case that is why they have different sentences.

Jessica, please don't pay any attention to the idiots on this forum. Everytime you respond to them it gives them more ammunition to fire back. I remember you when I taught at the high school and always thought you were a nice girl. Please don't feel like you have to explain yourself. You are a minor, Chris was the adult. Silence is the best weapon so don't repond and they'll go away once they get bored and they'll move on to someone else.

This whole situation is a mess.....the young girl has NO blame in this at all....where anyone thinks she is at fault for any of this is ludicrous....she is a child and was taken advantage of.....and nobody has the right to take her past and make stupid accusations of what this poor girl went through. The damage will last long after she becomes an adult. I hope she gets whatever help she needs to get through all this. No child deserves any of this.

This girl isn't the innocent victim her parents portrayed her to be...she willingly snuck out to meet him and go to the motel..where he took pictures of her naked..smoked weed, drank..she went to a lot of football games as well...home and away...with another female friend...she got busted and her parents cried rape...I agree he crossed the line but she's just as guilty..she's old enuff to know what she was doing...

How are you old enough at 12? Are you thick? The guy is sick....whether she did drugs or not is moot....she was still 12....no adult should take advantage of a young girl....she has NO blame in any of this. Anybody that thinks differently should look at the whole Penn State and Syracuse situations. The children are NOT to blame at all.

Yea, that's it revictmizime the girls all over again...and yes I said "girls"...their were many girls that were affect by this "man" for years...Many of the girls were excelling in sports and making excited grades....know they are just trying to make the best of what is left of their high school years...BUT being ridiculed by other so called: "better than other" classmates for taking a stand! Come on!
Show some support and compassion...I've seen first hand what it does to young girls...and they deal with it in every aspect of their lives from then forward.
Obviously you know what is going on...you make sense on here thank-you very much. It isn't often people know what they are talking about on here.

Alright, you people, listen up. This man you're speaking about is my father. MY. FATHER. Alright, if you people actually think my father did this, you are complete idiots. Okay. Some stupid woman in Massena made the whole thing up, and look where it got my father.
My name is Malcolm Morin. I am the 13 year old son of Christopher Morin.
I haven't seen my father since July of 2011.
Seeing all these comments saying my father deserves it pisses me off.
My father doesn't deserve this at all. He is an innocent man. He would take time out of his day to help a homeless man on the streets.
You people should all be ashamed of yourselves.
How would you people feel if your innocent father was framed?
There was another case where a man was convicted of a murder he didn't do. He was released from prison about a month ago. He was innocent.
So is my father.
Also, for the people of Massena, I hope you are proud of yourselves. You just ruined a man's life.
I hope you all burn in hell, you disgusting pathetic excuses of humans.

Is the son you speak of named Malcolm Morin? If so, that's me.

It's a good thing you are on my father's side of innocence. It's sickening how people think my father did this kinda stuff. It ain't true.

I know my father very much. He would never do such a thing. If he did, our family would've crumbled long ago.

Thank you, good sir.

I feel bad for his wife and family also.I,am not saying what he did was right but why give him 15 years? He did not rape her. Why so much time? Whhy would he have gotton less time if he had raped her? It doesn,t make sense to me. People that do alot of worse crimes than he did get away with it basically. I feel the system isn,t fair. On the other hand, I feel bad for this girl and her family with what they are enduring. It is true tho at 15 you know wheather to entice someone or just do not talk to them. You must know if they are a predator or not at that age. What is the legal limit 16. I know a child has the right at 16 to leave the home and there is nothing a parent can do about it.
The whole case is made up. None of the events in the case ever happened. People just love to lie, just to get some innocent person in jail. I am his son. The last thing I do before I commit suicide, is see my father.

The people saying my father deserves to rot in prison deserve to burn in hell.

Seeing these comments about my father has brought me to the brink of suicide.

People...just...stop. My father is an innocent man. He lost his mother 10 months ago. That was my grandmother. I never even got to see her before she died. The only time I got to see her was in her coffin.

How would you feel if you were in our position...?

You and your family are not the first to see a family member pass. And without having that last goodbye. I lost 2 men very close to me 2 years ago. I hadn't seen them in over a month before the were killed. And yes, it hurt.

But in NO WAY, do I use that loss AS AN EXCUSE to get away with illegal activity. And before you go flying off the handle about this, I knew your father. He coached my nephew in football. And was there for other sports. I am almost 100% positive I am not the only one to say he made me feel uncomfortable.
But yes, in this country, you are innocent until proven quilty. If your father wasn't guilty he would not have gotten that amount of time.
As for "framing".... All that time that he spoke/texted/Facebooked those girls, they knew exactly who he was. And I commend that young girl for stepping up and TELLING SOMEONE!!!

I hope someone in your family reads your posts. I don't know why you would want to end your life. That is the most tragic part of this whole event. I pray and absolutely implore you to GO GET HELP!! Talk to someone about all this, don't bottle it all up. And especially, don't post things like this online. You can't erase a comment after you post it on this site. I think at 13, your not even supposed to be on this site!!

Wow, he was obviously guilty. He was a preditor, preying on young girls. The special agents lured him to the reservation at a home where he attempted to hook up with a minor. This is after there's evidence he sexually abused multiple young girls. He used his daughter as a tool to get the Girls to his home, had two cell phones and would text the girls on his second unknown cell phone to meet him alone in the bathroom upstairs. He sexually abused numerous girls and used his authority as a coach to initiate and follow through with multiple deviant and offensive actions against these young girls. He is a preditor, I'm sorry for the misfortune of having a monster as a father, but it needs to be acknowledged and you should seek a mental health evaluation ASAP to deal with the trauma.

Conspiring to commit a crime makes entrapment legal by law enforcement. That is how they catch child predators, people distributing kiddie porn and so on. People never used to worry about such things up here because the feds were so far away to bother. Times have changed with the feds right in our backyards now. If you had a child lured by an adult, you may feel differently. Let's say for the sake of conversation only that the young girl initiated the ordeal, He is a consenting adult who should have known better and he should have walked away. The judge sent a strong message that this activity will not be tolerated.
I agree, whether he was baited or not, his intentions were still there, he knew her age and he knew it was wrong. How many times has he done this before?

Keeping in mind that I believe Chris is now where he belongs, why don't you do us all a favor and stop trying to bullshit people to make yourself look important. The only things that are correct in your statement are the first two sentences. Past that you have just posted a bunch of lie's . You could have easily read the articles in the paper and been better informed. 1st , he did not meet the girl at a residence it was at a gas station. 2nd, He was arrested for texting the girl, NOT for physical contact with her or any other girl. There was NO evidence of these deviant sexual acts you proclaim you know of . The charges were for TRYING to sexually entice a minor thru texting , not for RAPE or any other PHYSICAL contact! Get your facts strait before you go spouting off at the mouth to feel important!
