I think this is a great start! It shows cooperation and resourcefulness.

The LEOs need our support, especially when they've done a good job.

So what it took some time, you don't want these people to be let go on a technicality, do you?

I want them to arrest the real drug dealers not the ones who have a couple pills on them. They know who they are! They just don't seem to want to arrest people they know!

Bingo! Get the big mules that are carrying it in here. Get the big guys, not just the puny sellers. Of course, if it took 38 officers two years to get this bunch, how long will it take them to outsmart the big dealers? Actually, it probably will never happen. There is money in drugs. Money corrupts all kinds of people--even cops.

Time? Money, and yes, I want to let them go, send them home, save the money, for these petty little charges. The whole affair is rediculous. Nine of them had one pill, one pill!

In this case LEO's do not deserve our support or respect, Nor the DA. It is the equivalent of death sentences for jay walking.

People are assuming there was a great deal of tax payer money spent here. That may not be the case. Thirty eight officers made the busts, but did it say thirty eight officers spent many hours over two years investigating? We don't know that. It could have been just a couple officers investigating. As far as the arrests. Most of them will pay fines for the charges which offsets some of the costs. How much is the cost for housing these people in jail? We don't completely know. That would be a factor of how many guards it takes for the whole amount of prisoners there over a years time. Plus the amount for meals and other items like transportation and medical. As an example lets say there is 8 guards for 15 prisoners and each guard makes 45,000 a year.So 8 times 45,000 is 360,000. Then divide it by 15 which is 24,000 dollars per year per prisoner. Then add the cost of meals and transportation and medical. So for meals lets say ten dollars a meal for 30 dollars a day. so that would be 10,950 more. So far thats 34,950 per prisoner per year. Medical and transportation I don,t have knowledge of what that would be. A best guess would be a total of around 40,000 total per prisoner per year minus the fines. If a person isnt in for a year then this could be divided by 12 to get the monthly cost. The cost for a prisoner doesn't differ from a small time dealer or the larger dealers except by length of time being served. So a bust is a bust based on amount of money. It isn't a waste of money if the police are doing their jobs.

So sick of people saying "they had ONE pill". Yeah that might be what they caught them selling but these people have been selling for years and anyone who acts like this was a one time "omg you should let them go" thing is just trying to protect them. Personally I got quite a laugh out of seeing a few of them go down. The mug shots were hilarious, especially Hanno's. You are really smoking hot NOW, right? Loser.

I agree, maybe hey got caught with one pill but these people sell all the time, and I'm wondering how exactly you know they only had one pill? I don't care what they sell or how many it's time to get these drugs off the streets. There are many more who are close to most of these guys who need to be busted as well. Lets get goin with it. The mug shots were funny, a few looked like they had been crying for hours, should of thought about it before

these guys arent any different than the doctors that irresponsibaly write prescriptions to these known addicts they should be locked up right with them. How do you think most of these people got introduced to these drugs... their doctors!!! Controlled substances are way over perscribed and thats where the whole problem begins. Way to go Lewis County Mental Health Keeping our addicts addicted~

Nice try, sad. Unfortunately I know many of these dealers around here and they weren't introduced to drugs by doctors. They are mostly jobless, sometimes homeless, pot smoking, pill popping losers who ARE the ones introducing it to the next generation here. The fact that some of them started to work the system doesn't put the entire blame in the doctors hands. The sheer number of thirty something losers in this county is astonishing. I wish the young women here knew that there are MUCH better guys out there. Anyway, another attempt at misdirecting blame. They SOLD drugs illegally, that makes them part of the problem.

they were addicts who were given theprescriptions they are selling most of them were prescribed the dru they were selling doctors shouldnt be willing to pass out scripts of narcotics so carelessly to people ho you can so easily identify as druggie losers but their own doctor cant tell that theyre junkies. There is a much bigger problem if you think this measly little bust got any drugs of the streets of lowville your crazy. those people who want pills will find them if they cant find them on the street they can simply go to mental health and get their own script from the doctor who is known to dose of during sessions

Ha ha lets not forget to include the money there going to use to protect the snitch, there had to be one and after serving on the grand jury in lewis county court i can tell you there was at least two times each one of these people sold at least one pill to that snitch, also any good lawer could punch holes in the way lewis county conducts themselves during a drug investigation, that is why they go after the small fish, the poor, all the same what they did was no different than selling cocaine or meth, so for that reason rich or poor they should be prosecuted, nobody would be saying let them go if it were coke

Usually a snitch is someone already in trouble, trying to get a lighter sentence for themselves. So this "career criminal " is so trustworthy?!?! How can u say with certainty that it happened? Did u personally witness each of the so called transactions take place?

everytime a new thread is started about collin and linda being the snitches it is taken down in less than 48 hours is that part of their protection? Hopefully the DA and Assistant DA have all their ducks in a row on this one after making such a big production out of the arrested that took them 2 years to make (not sellin alot of drugs must be?) and how many addict NARCS got off on other charges to get these supposed big time drug dealers. They will look quiet foolish if these dont get prosecuted cant wait to see how this goes.

This stuff makes me laugh. You all assume we're guilty without knowing the facts behind it. Just because a person is arrested doesn't make them automatically guilty. But because of the news media you believe everything you read. It's real easy to set someone up by using lies, and half truths, to save their own asses from the frying pan. Maybe some of you should look into the facts behind addiction before you start calling us names. Addiction sucks, I know this firsthand. Being an addict, however, doesn't make me a drug dealer. I hate the fact that I got addicted, and I hate the fact that you people spew out this garbage with no thought behind it. what kind of addict sells the shit they'd rather do themselves? The answer is none. Use your real names to talk smack about me, just once.
