The rate payers and tax payers will wind up paying for this. Comcrap wants an oedipus and the mayor wants political capital. The businesses in or near the construction site and new tower will suffer with intolerable traffic in an already dysfunctional city. The Convention Center is already drawing less and that's because it's in center city Philadelphia. By the time you take your time, pay parking and for what ever location or event you are going for what should be $50 could go well over 100 dollars. What should be an afternoon could turn into a full day just because of travel and finding parking and places to eat. Too much work and money to go to center city.
To top it off yet another big project that ignores the older residential neighborhoods like north and west Philadelphia. Comcrap should be giving those residents free service.
