I remember yars ago, when Colorado fire management would snobbishly claim that fires were very rare in CO, and the largest forest fire was only 2,000 acres of surface damage. Well Colorado, reality has finally set in and you are just as vulnerable as any other western state now. How does that feel to you?

Can't seem to fimd any direct intel about Berthoud. Has the fire effected that town at all? UI am quite concerned as I have an old friend living there and I would like to kow if she and her family are dafe. Any info would be ghreatly appreciated.

I talked with them, and they are completely dafe. I hope this helps. Perhaps, if it doesn't, you could use one of these newfangled things called telephones, and ask them directly instead of relying on random strangers to provide information you are too lazy or cheap to obtain yourself.
