I didn't know this young hero, or his family, yet we ALL owe a debt of gratitude for his sacrifice. Rest in peace, young man, and thank you for your service to our country. To your family, all we can say is thank you for raising a young man who felt that his duty to his country was important. May you find peace in your hearts soon.

It upsets me to read this. To the family of this loss, God Bless You for having a son, brother brave enuff to honor our country. To young to die and to much of a great loss for all in this family. I have a nefew over there and everyday I hope and pray for all there serving for our country. It upsets me, Obama just sits and waits to send more troops. The longer he sits on this it frigthens me. The greater the loss of our men. To this family your son left our world in standing honor. I salute him and may he rest in peace. May God bless you in this time of grief. Prayers go out to Brandon and his family.

This is the closest (to where I live) I've learned of one of our American soldiers to be brought 'home'. This makes it almost personal.

Condolences to Brandon's family.

God bless this young man who gave his life for his country. My heart aches that our soldiers are in harm's way in a country that despises us.

TEARS & CONDOLENCES. His twin sister has lost a vital part of her heart and her true soul-mate sibling, too. Only if one is a twin can you know....

It feels too glib to write thank you for his sacrifice of his life, yet I do feel it is necessary to thank Brandon's parents and sister for shaping such a man.

May the heaviest and darkest days now, eventually lighten to where you can start to have some better days and remember Brandon through less and less tears and have him living in your hearts where he will make you feel warm and safe.

As a War Vet, I would like to send my feelings of personal loss to the family. I did not know your son personally but as a fellow veteran, I feel as though I know him very well. I have walked in your sons shoes and know that he was a very brave man---one must be in order to perform those duties. Again, I am very sorry for your loss

So sad to read this. Just attended a military funeral last week for a soldier who died in Iraq. May the Lord bring comfort to Brandon's family. And I hope that the Lancaster county area shows more respect to this young man than the York county area did. Such a huge sacrifice he has made should not go unacknowledged.

God bless your son, it’s a shame his life was ended so soon. It’s time we pull the troops out too many young lives have been lost . Obama is showing he is a huge liar!!

So young, but so very brave. Words can not express the pain this family must be going through right now, may god lift you up and hold you in the coming days and weeks as you mourn the loss of this young hero.

As a disabled verteran who served hazardous duty I am so sorry to hear of this loss of a hero. Many don't know the shoes that he had to walk in, defending us who live in the United States who take so many things for granted. May God bless this special hero, and may God give comfort to his family. May his family remember that he is not gone forever, for one day you will be reunited again with him. I don't have the words to express the thanks to those that serve and to their families, and don't have the words to express my sorrow over the loss of this great hero.

May God bless you and keep you under his wing as you deal with the loss of your son and a brave young man. Having children still in the Army I can only say they do make the ultimate sacrafice for our country. Take comfort in knowing we all appreciate our young men and women in the service and pray for them all. Rest in peace Brandon.
