A large portion of physicians do not practice. Many do other things like teach, run companies, lobby and in Dr. Pippin’s case take up a cause and profit from it. Dr. Pippin has no idea what soldiers have to go through. Medics just don’t treat random wounded soldiers, most of them know their patient closely calling them brothers. Failing your comrade is the worst thing you can do. It’s a soldier thing I don’t expect Dr. Pippin or the coward politicians, backed by PETA, that passed this underhandedly by placing it in the NDAA when it clearly failed on its own merit as a Bill in Congress. Medics will now be forced to watch their friends die because they can’t help as a result of not receiving proper training. Can you imagine that....failing your brother….. watching him die knowing you could have saved him. Most would rather jump on a grenade than fail their comrade. But not you Dr. Pippin & PETA, you would rather throw the soldier under the bus, or in this case let him die in agony and sentence his medic friend to a lifetime of PTSD from watching. Most of us don’t need more bad dreams phucksticks.
