There is nothing "fair" about the justice system.
It is a game and you have to know how to play it to the hilt.
Appeals will cost you a lot of money and the success rate is almost nil.
Since the prisons are already overfilled, maybe he will be out in half the time or less.

The Justice system does work ,Vargas is a cold blooded killer who give him the right to kill another human. Good luck Aaron you should fit in well in the prison system where you belong.

Seems like there is more to this story. Questions of a possible lovers quarel?? Fact is he took the law into his own hands... PERIOD! If everyone did this life would be out of control. I'd say the punishment fits the crime. He had to know if he killed him in cold blood he'd be punished somehow.

I believe that Aaron was molested, and in my opinion Darrell got what he deserved (dying a slow, painful death from a gunshot wound to the stomach), but that's not to say that killing another person is right, or legal! Our society simply cannot allow one person to be the judge, jury and executioner - no matter what. I'm not saying I wouldn't have done the same as him, as I can only imagine the horror Aaron has lived with, but there has to be consequences for his murderous actions. He's lucky it wasn't more than 9 years.

Aaron was punished BEFORE he committed the so-called "crime." He received plenty of "consequences."

F*ck the so-called "justice system." Who are they protecting?

Well I have been mixed with this whole situation. I have followed the story for a few months now. I feel that justice was served. Aaron did kill a man. I mean come on people he took a LOADED gun over to this mans house and after he shot him would not leave or let the girlfriend of the victim call the police until the man was dead! That does not sound like a man who went over there to just scare him! He got what he deserved really! The part I am mixed with is I am not sadden that the molester is gone just that the public is trying to justify a murderer! May God have mercy on Aaron while he is in prison.....

Seeing the need, Aaron assumed the responsibility.
The "law enforcement" agencies in this county were protecting the molester. WHY? Aaron did what had to be done. God bless him for it. I hope the deceased had a good explanation when God judged him.
Law Enforcement did not protect anyone, there are no Police reports on the molest incidents from years past. Things would have been different if Aaron had reported the molesting that occurred.

Correct me if I am wrong but Aaron never went to the police right??? So how did the Law enforcement agencies fail Aaron. You cant fail someone when they never asked for help! I think the police did a good job! They put a murderer behind bars.....

Ron Brown is a gangster??? How do you figure?

Law enforcement was protecting the molester??? How do you figure? Please provide the class with some evidence to support this off-the-wall claim.

God bless Aaron??? Which God do you want to bless Aaron? Is it the same God that gave the command "Thou shall not kill?"

I have been on that website and also watched the 20/20 thing where Aaron himself said he NEVER seeked help from the police so maybe u should educate urself! lol. I dont understand how people can justify what he did. It is so bizzar to me. He took a life! I do not support in any way child molesters but u just can not go around killing people. It is just not right. Well I again pray that Aaron is given mercy where he is going. I pray for his salvation. Oh and one more thing I am far from a Child molester or a sex pervert lol I am a well respected mother of 6 children, wife of a well respected man who serves and protects our town.

Oh, great, there's the problem...you're a cop's wife. Even the families protect "the brotherhood." Was Shannon Barney's sex perversion circus in Covelo the heart of the problem, or only the tip of the iceberg?

No decent mother would EVER condemn someone who implemented JUSTICE on a child molester.

Indeed!

But the system has to destroy Aaron and his family because they know that if a righteous vigilante "gets away with" rendering justice, they themselves might be the next to receive justice.

The command is "thou shalt not murder." The God of the Bible said sex perverts like the deceased "have their blood upon them." Killing a child molester is NEVER murder. Jesus Christ said it would be better for a child molester to have a millstone put on his neck and then he be thrown into the sea, than have to face God.
Didn't take very long for you to take the bait. Yes, it is "Thou shalt not murder." Kind of like "Aaron shall not murder a person who was accused of being a pervert." So your interpretation of the bible allows me to kill anyone that has simply been accused of molesting a child? Is there a need for the presentation of evidence or perhaps a trial to establish guilt?

I appreciate the twisted Sunday School lesson. However, please support your statements and provide the readers with answers to the other two questions.

Again, how is Judge Ron Brown a gangster?

Again, how did law enforcement protect the alleged molester in this case?
