" Obama's vision for the next four years — perhaps the most important — has been largely missing from his effort this year."

That's because he doesn't have one except for increasing the numbers of those in poverty in the USA.
Everyone, every demographic group is doing worse than they were 4 years ago.

Obama has had more than enough time to get things moving on the economy but now he wants to start this late in the game....I don't think so.

Obama can't keep up with all his lies. All his commie buddies are coming to collect their debts.

When Breitbart died there was talk of many tapes, and investigative reports still available to be released before the election. When they released that video last week just before the debate Obama realized just what is out there in internet land, and he knows it spells trouble for him. He cannot keep them from exposing his past, and he is scared to death about what they could have in their possession. He is rattled, I think it is so funny.

Exactly... and wishful thinking, as Obama hardly looked to be "falling apart" when I saw him on television last night.

He did jest that Romney may have an ability to be "on" all the time, which he can't do, and seems to be in a position now that Nixon faced against Kennedy, and Carter faced against Reagan... a truly sharp opponent adept in verbal jousting.

The place or direction Obama goes in now will tell the tale, can he, like Nixon, learn from his mistakes and triumph, or like Carter, will he sink further into the morass?

President Barack H. Obama is not new and shiny as the MSM needs to portray him.
He must be judged for the State of the Union, as it is and his contribution.

Exactly, this middle school mentality of the Obama supporters must cease, they must address the problems of this country and what Obama has done or failed to do to help.
They are all concerned about how someone "looks" which is pretty pathetic.

What makes me laugh is the media is doing everything they can to prop up Obama yet he still is failing, time after time.

No, I would'nt call a temporary set-back a "Falling Apart". We still have 4 weeks to go and Obama is still ahead.

No, Obama is not still ahead in the polls. As a matter of fact he has fallen behind. The next 2 debates will make or break the President. He has no record to defend. He lies about everything. He looked awful in the first debate. He has to be twice as good as Romney in the next one, and foreign policy is not his best issue. I can't wait to hear his explanation of why the Security was removed from our Ambassador in Libya in August just in time for his Muslim Brotherhood friends to plan their 9-11 attack.
