It's extremely difficult for people of feeble mental capacities to break free of the constraints of inferior moulds and to rise to greater heights.

A tussle between balance and imbalance is the relentless game played out on the stage of the universe.

Perfect balance implies a state of non-manifestation that exists prior to the universe getting projected into form, or it could also mean a state of perfect equilibrium attained to by a completely evolved entity in the manifest stage of the universe.

Perfect imbalance refers to a state of the highest instability in the manifest stage or it could also allude to a state of dissolution after the expenditure of most of the useful energy of an isolated system.

MORE INSIGHTS ON KARMA

1) Karma is the veneer on the basal force driving the system.

2) Karma creates ripples on the surface of the driving force but leaves its core intact.

3) If the karma, whether good or bad, upsets the surface balance of the underlying driving force then it brings in varied problems that can unsettle the driving force or leads to its narrowing but if the karma, whether good or bad, does not disturb the stability of the innate driving force then one makes good progress in life without facing too many blocks.

4) People with steady nerves and in possession of that unflappable mental poise usually remain undisturbed even in the midst of stress and this then creates the least disturbance to the functioning of the driving force that operates best in the absence of constant fluctuations.

5) In the ordinary life, people with substantial material comforts, sufficient power of influence on their surroundings, nerves of steel, a never say die attitude and strong mental capacity are usually unaffected by their karma (whether good or bad) as these positive features of an individual do not unnecessarily upset the functioning of the driving force in the individual's being that could otherwise in the case of habitual disturbances lead to weakness, fear, subservience, poverty and stress. This is why we usually see the rich and powerful persons always coming out on tops, while the poor, who, in most cases, are victims of a shaky driving force in the individual being brought on by karma, whether good or bad, usually suffer the brunt of price rises, increased taxation, epidemics, wars, riots and natural calamities.

Karma can act as a placebo or as a nocebo by either keeping intact the stability of the driving force in the system leading to gains or it can upset the rhythms of the inherent driving force leading to all sorts of problems in mind, emotions, body, relationships, business and career.

Personality traits like steady nerves, great will power, terrific mental poise, high intelligence and a never say die attitude can offset the adverse effects of bad karma since these imperial personality traits maintain the steadiness of the driving force in the being to a large extent despite the surface coating of the adverse karma and so the driving force remains largely unaffected by bad karma thereby avoiding setbacks and disturbances. Like gas bubbles these negative karma are shortlived and are as a result dissolved by the power of the dominant personality traits or they enter a state of near complete quiescence.

Mental instability or bodily diseases arise when the heredity and karma upset the steady rhythm of the innate driving force in the system which in turn upsets the functioning of the neurons or of the cells of an organ which as such get adversely affected as the case maybe.

A disproportionate brain size with respect to the body size and the complexity of the neuronal connections in the brain sets the human race aside from the other species.

Gosh. Rationalists are blinded by science. But, science makes better sense than religion and at the same time its hypotheses are corroborative and useful.

I think it was Tolstoy..."If your reach does not exceed your grasp then what is heaven for?" Or something like that!

Hope all is good in Fairfield County.

No sinkhole issues here recently. Colder and snowier than PA. Saw a small herd of 5 deer moving through the woods behind us - but they've been avoiding the deer lick I put up in droves!

Icy and foggy this morning.

Happy 2014!

Why would you want to attract deer? Most people I know want to rid themselves of them.

This winter has barely even started...hold on your hat...

We enjoy seeing all the wildlife.

No plans to cuddle up with them.

The worse thing we had was in the last house in PA - a family of
groundhogs/woodchucks lived under the deck the whole time we
were there. They ate a few plants. My father-in-law wanted us to
"get rid of" them but my research revealed no damage to houses caused by
them and my experience was just that. They ran like hell whenever we
crossed paths.
