Kudos to these caring and concerned student leaders!

While I agree this is a worthy undertaking by the students, I find it hard to believe that most of these nursing homes cannot afford to buy additional blankets for their residents, considering what they charge for their care. I know at least one of these facilities charges their patients' families or the government right at $3,700 monthly for their services.
It's unfortunate the students didn't donate these blankets to the Gospel Mission to hand out to the homeless or indigent families in Silver City and Grant County.
