I really hate DRUNK drivers. Why do people think it is okay to go the bar and then drive home? I think we need to have a police officer at every bar and if you are too drunk to drive you get a cab or call for a ride. That would eliminate so many fatalities due to a drunk on the road

What's worse than a drunk driver, is someone that would be so rude & obnoxius that they would choose a time like this to post a comment like you just did. Do you know what compassion means? obviously not! Sadly, this couple is gone, their family is in unbelievable pain & the only thing that you can do is offer critisim.
Grow up,...everything is NOT about you.

Take a flying leap....I know all to well about losing someone close due to a drunk driver. I have more compassion then you know. It is people like you that probably get behind the wheel so drunk you can't even remember how you got home. You are the one that needs to grow up

Crzy People......I guess if we read between the lines, your name is fitting for you! These were two very close friends of mine. Have you ever in your life drove fast? You should change your name to God. They left behind two boys that could be reading your crap posted. You hide behind your computer, judging people. I hope that you have NEVER made a mistake and if you have then I guess your name should be hippocratic! Compassion my A**!

I am sorry that they left behind two boys. My hear does go out for the boys. I feel bad that they lost their lives. However they should have thought about the consequences before they got on that bike and started it up. You may think I have no compasion yes I do. My son was only 14 when he died. He was an inocent little boy that was taken away from us too young. All because some woman decided that she could drive home from the bar one afternoon. So don't tell me I don't have compasion.

Crzy People. I am sorry to hear of your lose of a son due to a woman who should have never been behind the wheel of a car. The newspapers can print whatever they want to print. There at this point is not proof that they were over the legal limit. Yes speed was a factor, however they paid the ultimate price don't you think! It takes time for reports to come back regarding what was in their systems. Judging people won't bring your son back.

Yes, they BOTH should have thought about getting on the motorcycle and there are a lot of what ifs. But, the fact of the matter is that they didn't think about it and now they BOTH are gone. I believe that everyone knows this by now. So, rather than sitting back and making judgement about what has been mentioned in the papers or what has been rumored, possibly try to offer a little support for the family and friends. Not only did they pay the ultimate price, but their family and friends are left to try to pick up the pieces of this traggic loss. Be glad that this didn't happen to one or two of your family members because the reality is that this could have happend to any one of your relatives too. And, if you were greiving and read some of the comments such as what many of you have written above--you may just think twice about being so judgemental.

So I take it that you give all the stinking lying drinking cops in your town a ride home from their cop parties and dart league's at the tavern and thirsty thursdays at the bowling alley?

Or do they drive home on their own since they don't have to worry about their stinking lying a.s.s.es getting a ticket?

I have not seen it yet either. It sounds like their funeral/s will be way up north though. Possibly still undecided.

Nope the damn cops are the worst of them all...They think because they hold a badge and a gun they can do whatever the heck they want to do. I am just a mom that don't believe in drinking and driving at all. They should have kept Alcohol abolished centuries ago

I wouldn't ride a motorcycle, if my life depended on it! EVERY day, in every newpaper across the country, someone is killed on a motorcycle. There is no protection! It's dangerous. The worst part of it, is people DO NOT SEE THEM.

Check your news, a dude on a moped/scooter just caused the crash of school bus that killed 4 people on the school bus. So much for riding in big freaking vehicles.
