I was a member of this church at the time of her arrest. I am glad that so many of you are w out sin and that you can cast those stones. Our Pastor Thompson did exactly what he should have done, for those who thought turning her in was wrong, boy I would not like to see what happened if that were your son trusted w an official that over stepped boundaries. We all make mistakes but our Preacherman did not. The young man and his family withdrew them selves from SBC, and actions were taken. The mother was one of our ministry drivers so she lost out on for Jesus as well. Pastor Dean is an amazing man and there was no lack of love in their relationship, she obviously simply got bored and was doing things that are against God. I forgave her when she resigned from all duties, also she CONFESSED to Pastor Thompson bc she knew it was right and she was woman enough to face her consequences. For all of you who read it in the paper or seen it on the news, until you get facts straight you should base no opinion, You should join a church that would not sweep any crime under the rug. We come to church not to judge and gossip, but to get a message. Spread words of love and forgiveness instead of hate- also disciplinary actions were taken in our church- she was thrown out indefinantly, she was forced to resign, and she had her own demons to fight among losing what she loved to do best- she made a mistake, forgive her. God bless you all

She only gets a small penalty and isn't sitting in jail because she's a woman. Like many other aspects of life, The legal system does seem to have a very steep bias against men compared to women. Although all the people saying not to judge are right. But I can't help wondering if they would be saying not to judge if it was a man convicted of the same thing.

The news will never mention this but the FBI and other statistics prove that there are really more domestic violence and sex crimes commited by women than men. Of course females get almost no jail time at all for any crimes since the law is pu55y whipped for the most part.
You're right. The news or even the political nonsense that pretends to be news from booth sides will neither one dare mention the unrealistic privileges of the modern american woman, even over children and the ederly. Seems it would be foolish for the news to tell the truth on that. They would lose their consumer base (72% women) as well as their viewers. Also, It's well known among people running for any kind of public office that telling the truth about it is political suicide. If any politician were ever insane enough to do that, he or she would run off the majority of their voter base. I've yet to ever see a politicain in ANY of the parties NOT pander to woman about some nonexistent issues or their will simlpy make a silly one up... Yet many folks somehow fall for it no matter how much anyone can prove otherwise (Man-Woman pat gap myth, anyone?). Women do get a free pass on crime most of the time. As another poster mentioned on here, if it was a man the comments about showing sympathy to this lady-pedo would have been absent and rage and insults would have made up most of the comments, also the kid would not be portrayed as the aggressor and the molester the poor victim had this been a man who committed this horrible crime.

Women DO account for more domestic and sex crimes in the US than men, and now they are at an ALL TIME high but since they are all special little snowflakes and eternal victims, we will have to do some very remarkable mental gymnastics to make up even more excuses to milk males for even more $$$$$ now. Obamacare/Bachelor tax wasn't enough.
