What's up with the 23 year old drugged, taken from The Frogs and raped. Times have changed . At Charlie's we were more patient. We would get'um drunk and it was easy. Everybody in a hurry now.

Why did I get a red-letter about language in the above post? There's nothing vulgar there.

Dang! It's still displaying it to me. Oh, well, guess they didn't like me calling a house of ill repute what it is. Just a joke, anyhow.

A deleted post even shows up for non registered users.
You can open up another web browser to see if it is there.

#2 post was:

Yeah, back in the day, I spent all of 15 minutes talking them into it. Those hoe houses were expensive.

No one wants to get involved . It's just too easy to turn away . Now if people would stop and think , what if that was my daughter or my sister being forced out of here , maybe then they would take a minute and do something . But since they didn't they have something to sit around the bar and talk about for a while . If this did infact happen then that means there is a sexual predator out there . If it didn't , then there is a girl that regreted something she did after she sobered up . This happened to a freind of mine in Memphis and it cost his family way up in the 6 digits before the girl admitted that what she claimed was all false . She made it up because she had a boyfreind and got caught bent over the hood of a car with this other guy. Not saying this is the case , but it can happen . Since the bartender said it appeared she was going against her will then maybe it is true . Either way it's a bad deal .

If it is determined that there is a basis for the rape claim, the bartender should be charged as an accessory before the fact.

Absolutely , A person has a moral obligation to do what's right . And given the environment and the particular circumstances , what outcome was the bartender expecting ? Now if the bartender knew the person that took the girl out of there and thought that they were just giving her a ride home then maybe that would be acceptable . The fact remains that she was taken against her will and that changes the whole thing . The bartender could have prevented the whole thing when it started . I know there is a phone handy somewhere .

I only used "grown folks " that one time talking to Jeff and his little wife. But if it fits use it.
