Yes this is a good company to work for. Great pay, excellent benefits. Yes they do drug screening, and yes they have a 3:30 shift but no given end time.sometime you may get off before 12:30pm and sometime you have to stay a little later. Boar's Head is a good company to work for but it is the people you have to work with that make the job difficult.

terrible place, they force you to work rediculous hours and schedule that can change in the matter of a day. the hr department is all black and very prejudice toward white people. i saw a black forklift driver curse his supervisor and had no kind of punishment what so ever because he is black and his wife was the head of hr. maintenance manager and supervisors are idiots and dont know enough about repairing machinery to even be in charge. i urge you to stay away unless you absolutely have to work there because mcdonalds isnt hiring, its that bad

Asking about random drug tests? Is that a factor in whether or not you consider employment?

Shoot my husband has been there a month now. He's white and absolutely loves it. He works the "3-11:30" shift, but never gets home til somewhere between 1-4. Now that's crazy, but hey that's great pay for around here, unless u drive to Memphis or jonesboro.

They need to do a complete house cleaning , from the top office down to every department. Dopers. Drinkers, lots of adultery going on and stealing from within the company. These people hire more blacks & mexicans to look good on their government ratio, the whites are few and far between because the won't put up with the bull$^!+. I'm just hiding in my cube , waiting, watching, taking notes & recording what I can. I'll let y'all know when I have enough for a lawsuit that they cannot get out of. And no I don't need a lawyer, already got on from Little Rock. May they all reap what they sow.

You know if they got a union it would stop the long hours that they want you to work and the different jobs going all over as needed. Plus a union would do away with all the favoritism on who gets what jobs and who gets fired and who doesn't.

Not a chance in hell that they'll unionize. If they did the business would move to another high poverty area where employees could be bullied not to unionize.

There was a time in this nation when unions were needed. That time is gone. Thanks to unions workers have many benefits. Now by and large the union leadership are a bunch of thugs.

Union would make it a much better place to work, Boars Head has other plants that ARE unionized. They haven't shut them down and moved them and I would bet the working conditions are better.

Obviously some of the employees think a union would be helpful also. It almost passed last time missed the vote by 1. So whatever the out come that tells you right there people feel they are not being treated fairly.

Obviously the majority thinks they are being treated fairly or it would have passed the first time.

if unions are so great go ssk someone from Sanyo if you can find any. That is the reason Sanyo is gone because of the union.
