Quality product... Aloof, semi rude, other than the greeting at the door usually have no idea u are in the store. They may even nudge u to get out of their way and their agenda while u shop .... Lol
I'm afraid to go in the store!

FC is lucky to have a store like CW. Everything that is nice or unique has closed/gone (Taylor-Casbeer, Colony Shop, places like that) and not coming back.

they're not getting rich there I would suspect. the disposible income of the area to buy non essentials like that is very low.

Exactly, it's nice to still have a few places where you can shop besides wal-mart. I am as guilty of spending money at Wal-Mart as anyone else but they kill small business and by doing so bring down a community. I will do my best to support small shops like Chez Weenie whenever I can.

Where is this Chez Weenie and what kind of store is it?

Chez Weenie is behind the Times-Herald building.
I forget the street name. They stock decorative items, gift items, unusual things you can't find easily. The people are super-nice; they just don't shadow you around the shop like they're expecting you to steal something. If you ask for help finding something, they're happy to help. You're right that the owners and many of the people who work there are from the town's more fortunate families, and they could easily desert FC as so many others have done; instead, they bring a little oasis of civilization to the town.
You're also right that they make very little profit - maybe none, after paying utilities and upkeep - and they give much more to the town in charitable donations without asking publicity or credit for it.

Great people and excellent service. They helped me with a very last minute gift this past Christmas and I can't thank them enough.

I also went in for a last minute Christmas gift, I had only a vague description of a purse my wife had seen in there. They listened to what little info I could give on it and pointed me to what they thought she had been talking about, turns out they were exactly right, but they told me several times if it wasn't correct it would be no problem to exchange it. Try getting help like that at a chain store.

Anyone trying to run this business down is part of the problem around here not the solution.

When I say "very last minute"... I mean they stopped by the store on their way to church on Christmas Eve when they were closed to allow me to purchase a gift! I would never ask them to do that again nor would I expect them to do it but for anyone questioning their customer service... enough said.

They also have a back room where they sell adult sex toys! Ive bought several items for my wife and I to use in the bedroom. You have to ask if you can go into the back room. They dont really advertise it other than word of mouth. They have all kinds of toys dongs black and white, balls, vibrators, restraints its awesome! If they dont have it they can order what you want in the sex toy catalog.

Walmart also has a back room with sex toys as does Freds, the only difference they are made in Chinese sweat shops.

Lol ...... There is no back room! Or is there? Bahahaha
Yes as from the above glowing reports are the items that they do not make any money on made in America? As all store owners in small town America only open their doors for souls in need early in the morning they make each and very product themselves?
This store is not the next savior of Forrest City but it is nice to have somewhere to pick up something nice and different no matter the attitude of the salesperson.
