All drugs are evil. But meth is the most addictive drug. It destroys peoples lifes and families. It IS the Devils drug...poison! Over half of forrest city is on it, black and white...just mostly the black community is only on crack.

Heroin is really the devils drug, i mean meth does not bring your spiritual enlightenment anywhere near the level that heroin does and you see gods, angels, devils and demons and lots of spiritual things that you don't see in the regular daily grind. I have done them all, and on a level that most wouldn't live to tell about and i am clean and sober now but you never forget the things that you see and sometimes you still wonder if they were really real

We are not human beings living in a spiritual world. We are spiritual beings living in a very, very human world. We must be ever vigilant about who or what we open our spiritual doorway to. When people use drugs they become impaired. This impairment includes judgement and perception. The person then, no longer has control, or rational choice, they have "fallen asleep" to reality and the Bible advises against this. It cautions us to stay awake and alert. The devil is a slippery charmer just waiting to slither his way in through your unattended doorway because you are "fubar" and no longer standing guard, saying who or what comes in or stays out. All drugs are the devil's drug, because it is one of the channels he uses to pull the veil of deceit over your eyes to enter into your personal spiritual realm. Be drug-free and be the bouncer in your own life.

Or you could just kick back, roll you up a 'fatty', and relax.

Unless your employer drug tests you and you risk your family's lively hood for a cheap high. Not to mention if your high when you die you might not make it into Heaven. I thought you were smarter than that.

Well. As most people already know, I'm sorta retired. But I worked over 30 years with being subjected to random drug testing. I took a lot of them and never failed once.

But I don't go along with dying while high is a show stopper for getting into heaven. Not that I feel it is likely to happen to me. I certainly don't. I just don't know what would make you come to that conclusion.

I find your response very detailed and it seems to be your very thorough opinion but i honestly don't believe you have ever taken or used any of the "devils drugs",and marijuana doesn't count in my book,i'm not being a smartass i'm just sayin. I believe the spiritual beings remain to be seen by most and sometimes you can even see them while you have "fallen asleep" as you put it and what was that Jim Morrison said about the doors of perception?

I'm pretty sure Morrison was stoned when he said it.

He's not a good example to use when talking about being 'drug free'.

I know he was stoned, but if you read The Doors of Perception a 1954 book by Aldous Huxley from which Morrison quoted him, i think it would give a little insight into what i was talking about. I think Morrisson was brilliant, a stoner but brilliant all the same.

Living life is hard enough nowadays...I can't see how drugs can be of any help..except to send you deeper into the pits of hell. The previous statements about the demons verifies that.

Albert Einstein was brilliant.

Jim Morrison was a poet.

LOL. It is my very thorough experience, not opinion. As for the details, I have taken so many drugs in my past, that my drug of choice was called "whadoyagot?" Seeing spirits while taking mind and mood altering chemicals is more along the lines of the hallucinogenic, trippy kind, than the intuitive, keen perception and heightened-awareness, connected to everything around you, kind I was speaking of. Contrary to popular belief, drugs (even the speed you up) ones dull the senses, not elevate them. You just feel as if you are accomplishing much while on meth, when you are really just a poodle on linoleum, whole lot of action but you go nowhere. And you just think you are sexy, ten-foot tall and bullet-proof on crack or coke when you are really just a sweaty, jerky, pale paranoid mess. etc, etc. I am speaking of my own past experiences. I will leave the marijuana debate for another day.

I understand, i apologize for hinting that you were being judgemental. I agree with you on the meth and coke, never cared for those much at all, but i still believe that there are "gateway" drugs, and even though they are hallucinogenic they remain very powerful and after spending 30 days on an indian reservation and experimenting with peyote i don't think anyone could convince me otherwise. I hope that no one thinks i am trying to persuade anyone into trying anything at all, i don't advise it and i am only speaking of my personal experiences and i know first hand what certain drugs can do to a person and his/her family and i have been rebuilding burned bridges for a good while now. Happy Holidays
