Pop's place is a new business and I know for a fact that they are still getting things sorted out!!! FC needed a new place to eat and we got it so why not give them a second chance and see what happens. And as far as the roaches what are u talking about I have never seen one in there!!!! Like others have said if there is something wrong tell Matt or if hes not there then tell one of the other managers!!!

So how long do you suggest we give this place time to train it's employees, order better quality food for the menu?

When made this thread, it was honestly to see if anyone else felt the same way I did/do.

I had quit patroning Bonanza not because of the owner, not even because of the employees, because of high prices and low quality food.

I was so excited to hear Forrest City was getting a new restaurant, I even bragged to fellow employees where I work in another town.

I don't know about you all, but time are very tough, and my family works really hards to make ends meet, and when we go out and spend money on 5 of us to eat, we want good service, and even better food. I guess my family is spoiled I cook them really good food, and we expect too much.

I will give this place one more opportunity, so keep us posted on when it's better. Until then we will patron somewhere else.

Leave it to citizens of FC to tear anything new in town apart. A lot of miserable and unhappy people live here. Why not be positive? If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Pop's Place is this families livelihood. Too much undeserved negativity can cause unneeded problems for them. Give them time to get things running smoothy. If you have a legit complaint, Matt is very open to constructive criticism. Take it to him.

I agree with "Sad" - This is the most negative and useless excuse for a forum. I've never responded before, but feel it's time to shut this up. I wish I knew how to delete this thread. The Townsends have worked very hard to get this place up and running. I've only had the pleasure of eating there once and it was delicious. If you don't like it - fine- go somewhere else or better yet, use your time and gasoline to drive to Memphis or Jonesboro. Just to get on here and bash some of the finest, hardworking Christian people I've ever know is beyond me.

So all the people that I have asked behind scenes that quietly told me the same things, before they even asked my reply, I guess it doesn't matter what people truly think. Your right this is a crappy town with the most stuck up, holy roller, bible thumping, my way or the highway....been told my whole life how it works around here, just til the past few years never truly witnessed it til now. So it's fine the opinion of other don't matter, just yours, your right, I'm a horrible person for having feelings, for expressing them, your right I make this town a horrible place, your right and I am wrong for ever mentioning how truly Zhitty that place is/was/will always be.

I see that right after this thread was made, someone made a thread trying to dog mikes...I find that funny since that majority of its reviews are very uplifting.

I too recently went to pp and it was awful... And until I read this forum I kept my mouth shut about it. But it was nota. Good experience

If things are so bad here - "sojo", why don't you move? With your limited language skills, I'm sure you could find lucrative employment and be happier somewhere else.

I just love the way people put people down on here for having an opinion, and I'm so glad you know so much and spell everything right and type perfect. But your still a prick, and I am do glad that you say and do everything to everyone's pleasing. Because I don't give a rat's azz about what you think, or don't. I live here. I misspell here. I mistype here. But better yet I giving you the bird right here.
