BTW, China is fast becoming a state supported capitalist country.

State supported and Capitalist don't mix just like oil and water.

Our number one trade partner in the world has some very strict labor laws favoring the worker.
More Active Unions: Canadian labor laws are based on the US model, but typically much more restrictive of management’s right to intervene in a certification drive.
More importantly,
Canadian unions are much more prevalent in the private sector, representing approximately 20% of all workers, and they continue to aggressively pursue certifications in the service sector.
They have managed to organize selected outlets of American retail giants such as Wal-Mart and Starbucks.
Geographically it would be much cheaper for any business to go to Canada rather than China. That means Canada could actually be more expensive to a business than China and still have American businesses choose them over China. So what are the numbers going to Canada vs. the numbers going to China? Go ahead and make my argument for me.

Sorry Redd, I have no clue what this means.

How do you morons expect anyone to take you seriously when you are to stupid to let this God awful, off topic thread die?

Your behavior in this post indicates you have a guilty conscience for lying.
Maybe you need to remove the liberal filter you run everything through. The one thing I can't stand is a liar so I certainly don't practice it. It serves no purpose.

LMAO, Why would a company move to another that would quote, "actually be more expensive" because it is cheaper to get there than somewhere else?

China is like no other place on the planet, I'm afraid we have met our match. Does the world have room for two superpowers?..especially one that only needs us as a dumping ground for their products as we rapidly in-debt ourselves to them.

I'm sure they are amused by our political division, to an outsider I'm sure we seem teetering on the precipice, and we may be.

No one really cares about how many blogs you can find or how many lies you can tell about them, from either side, nor did your response have a damn thing to do with the post you responded to.
You got your argument shot down with current statistics..
Any time you care to opine this presidents achievements against any Republican President since Eisenhower bring it on!!!
Didn't I just say that blogs don't matter? Besides that's where you get your "facts" not me so don't take the failure of your flawed methods out on me.
As far as presidential achievements go, it's all but impossible to make an apples to apples comparison of achievements with you. Lets take unemployment. You would say that unemployment is going down and that is a direct result of Obama's and other liberal policies, right? BTW I would agree with you but not in the way you might think. Well you fail to consider that the participation rate is falling. If you have 100 employed people and 111 people in the workforce and another 10 that don't even look for jobs so you have an unemployment rate of 10.01%. Are you still with me? Lets say that 3 people drop out of the pool of the 11 that are unemployed. Now, you have 100 people employed and only 108 in the workforce and the number of people that have quit looking goes to 13. Your unemployment rate just went from 10.01% all the way down to 7.41%. You call that a victory since the numbers dropped while I would say we are much worse off. A drop of almost 3% makes you feel all fuzzy and warm inside while it sickens me because those that drop out signify to me that they have lost hope and may never return to the workforce making them a drag and a liability on society for the rest of their lives. There is no possibility that you would EVER see things my way, the way it ACTUALLY is. That is just one example but every scenario would play out that way and in the end I would be right but you would think you showe me a thing or two. It's really sad watching you try to defend your side, even worse seeing you convince yourself your right, and simply unbearable watching you look down your nose at others who disagree with you. I would hate to have to defend the positions you defend to try and prove your side is right. For what it's worth, you do a pretty good job.

It had a purpose, its called covering your ass. Just like posting misleading Bull Shit like this, you had a purpose.

QUOTE:

It's been almost impossible to buy strictly American for many years."

Two reasons:

1)American labor laws.

..........

Our number one trade partner Canada has labor laws very similar to this country. If labor cost in Canada is as prohibitive as the US, then why is our #1 trade partner not China? Yes we do have a trade deficit with China. Look at what the number one item on the list in way of dollars you will see that item is electronics. I do not know for a fact without further research I would dare to guess if you removed electronics, we would have a trade surplus with China.

"Highest corporate tax in the world"
..........

TRUE: since April we have since Japan just dropped their rate three percent to 36.8 %. However lets tell the rest of the story;

Loopholes and other special treatment for different kinds of businesses mean that businesses pay an effective rate of only 29.2% of their income, which puts the United States below the average of 31.9% among other major economies, according to analysis by the Treasury Department.

You really can't see that? If it costs a business $1 million per year to do business in China and 1.2 million per year to do business in Canada but it takes $10 million to move to China and only $1 million to move to Canada, you can't see that it would take 45 years to make up the difference? If the company had to borrow the money to make the move, it would take a lot longer than 45 years. To your point that Canada is doing such a great job attracting American companies, give me more than Wal Mart and Starbucks as an example. If your theory is correct then companies would stop going to Communist China and start going to Socialist Canada because there is a healthier business environment there since corporate greed is supposedly what drives companies to other countries. Please, take as many posts as you need to give me your list. I won't hold my breath that you will even try. I did try to help you out. I looked for American jobs lost to China and found countless articles, but when I looked for American jobs lost to Canada, I got 0. Good luck in your search.

Common sense 101. Why do we trade more with Canada yet have a trade deficit with China? If China is secondary, shouldn't the trade deficit be with Canada? Largest trade partner means largest dollar volume not largest quantity of items. I would suspect that we get more items from China anyway. That was lame Barn. You can do better than that.

Actually China is number three behind Mexico, and
the U.S. goods and services trade deficit with Canada was $6 billion in 2011.

"Look at what the number one item on the list in way of dollars you will see that item is electronics".

What was it about the above sentence that confused you?

Well what do you know? That trade deficit with China is not so great after all. What were you saying , corporate greed is not a motivation?

U.S.-China deficit smaller than thought:
