They are a CULT. At the bookstores, everything about JEHOVAHS WITNESS' are in the CULT/WITCHCRAFT section. It is sickening.

I am an adoptee who in the past 10 years reunited with my birthfamily. I was raised Lutheran attending church and parochial school. I was raised with the morals of this religion. When I reunited with my birthfamily I was told that they were Jehovah Witnesses. It was agreed that there would be a line drawn in reference to religion. There was no crossing it. Until my 7 year old niece told me that I was going to go to "hell" because I was a non-believer. Needless to say I was appalled by her statement and then it dawned on me that she did not just learn that on her own. Then after asking questions about their religion I was just stunned. The reasons for not celebrating certain things are absurd to say the least. And frankly I was raised in a loving religion where you were excepted for who you were instead of being given points for actions. My birthmom's husband told me that they had originally gone to a Baptist church but were appalled when they asked for donations for a new roof on their church. That's one reason they went to being Jehovah. Really? It's a religion based on not God's word but their own beliefs. Hmmm kind of sounds like the FDLS. One of my sister-in-laws told me that their Bibles were the same as mine. Ummm yeah except there's alot of parts left out and the words and descriptions are different.

I worked with a Jehovah's witness one time. Did some research , tried to persuade him over to my side (pentecostal). Learned a lot, most definitely a cult.
Well the pentacostal church in Forrest City you have to ask for permission to buy anything. And that is with the money you worked for. I know a couple who had ask for permission to buy a new fridge and the pastor said it was not needed so they couldnt buy it..That sounds more cult like to me!!!!!
