The evidence found at that pond was found by her family. How can this not be thrown out? Why would they let any family members around a crime scene? I find it hard to believe that out of all the people searching, her family members were the ones who found it.

you should go read again. The evidence found at the lake was found by a female volunteer searcher, but not any family member.

Kaaltv.com says that Kira's grandfather found the bag in a park close to their home.

That site also says the taxi's gps showed the person going to the trevino's home, but when it was first reported in other sources, it said it was several blocks from their home. I remember being concerned that while obviously incriminating it was also rather circumstantial. I don't test the news sources for finer details, that will come up in court, and be weighed by the judge and jury accordingly. The thing I find interesting is the roommate corroborates Jeffrey's story, witness saw two men at Keller lake, and the vehicle timing seemed like it would take two, yet there's been no concern over his apparent accomplice.

In the long run this is how it's going to go. He was in the military and he was in Iraq. He will get a lesser charge if one at all cause he can claim Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. Just watch and see.

I believe one shows intention to harm and the other shows no intention to harm. Different states have different laws and that may be how they assure someone gets sentenced in certain cases. If found guilty it will probably only be on one count.

Well I'm a distant family member on jeff's side and I heard that she may have been pregnant, and that's why he was charged with two counts murder instead of one...but that is just what I heard, can't say it's for sure true.
