Im from Kentucky what's it like in Forks?

forks use to be the logging capital and now a days it's known as vampire capital thanks to twilight. this place is very beautiful but lots of rain. there is great fishing and hunting for those that like to do that. tons of places to hike or just go for a drive, close to the beach, and if you like mudding there are alot of spots for that.

Since the Twilight movie and books, does the town have a lot more tourists than they did before?

Wow I'm not the only one from ky lookin on here! I has that same question... Being a small little town hasn't the movies and books hyped up forks a lot? I mean I've heard many ppl already talking about moving there just to have the essence of edward and bella more real to them.

I have lived here a long time,and it is beautiful.If any one wants to live here.I have 5.4 acres with cabin water lights ect.Im asking $125,000.and that will buy you a lot of edward and bella essence.ha ha.

I fit all the above.Born and raised in Washington, spent a LOT of time in Forks fishing, and now live in Kentucky.Moved here in 1995. Sure miss the Northwest.Want to retire there, wish I could afford to buy some property up there!
