Its good to see a bar that can cook a great chicken wing for a change. The lack of snow sucked but who cares when you can sit and stare at his Bartenders. See you when we open camp this summer.

This is run by nice people. I am sure they are open for POSITIVE suggestions to consider. They are fairly new and will be improving as they go I am sure. Encouragement is always appreciated in new businesses if it is sincere.
Old Mike Garramone must be smiling on them !!

The Kratzenbergs should be commended on making an effort and trying their hand at a "local" business, positive support is what is needed here..and patronage..when you decide to go out try and go local..it will help us all in the long run, viable open businesses help to maintain property values , it is so much better driving down the road and seeing 50 cars in that lot then the alternative we have witnessed for so long..my hats off to you..and hope they have a great first summer season and that we get an old fashioned real Forestport winter next season..thanks...Winterfell...

It's great to see an alternative to the White Lake Inn up there. I bet this place is making Brian jeaolous!

The more business the better, but would like to see some variety instead of just restaurants and bars. Don't misunderstand this meaning. Kratzy's is a welcomed addition and the location is good. We once had a laundromat in the village,a little convenience store, plus a small fishing tackle business/Rome Specialty/ and currently, we have Connie's art gallery, Scooters and Dave's Diner. Future growth will either develop on the East side of town, or on the highway through town. Also, there is activity around the golf course, and cabins on Woodgate Drive, so planning on where these businesses should and could go appears to be left to develop up 28 and around Woodgate now.

She probably got sick of the owner and all his drinking friends which is quite understandable.
