great to see all the positive comments; keep in mind kennepoo has an M.O., whenever he has been shown to be a blow hard and big mouth spouting nonsense, he will disappear for awhile without commenting, then start up again. I think he may need meds, lol.

The Niswonger PAC is a really nice venue. I've been there. They draw from Dayton, Ft. Wayne, Lima, Indianapolis, Toledo, Detroit, even Columbus for acts the book and ease of fscility access. Security is good as well, not like downtown Lima's south side or Dayton's west side.

Free, why did Scott Niswonger pick up and move to greener pastures (out of Van Wert)? At least Van Wert hasn't built a poop tratment facility next to their performing arts center yet. Maybe they can build a landfill out there. Mountains are pretty.
.
And I have an MO??? That's funny.. I guess you could say I'm doing just like Scott Niswonger and 'GIVING BACK' to where I came from.... And since the only thing I took from Vdub was bad attitude, I'm happy to give it back....
.
Yeah its good to see your collection of 'good comments.' Gotta take em where you can get em.

I think he graduated from Purdue Univ. with a business and engineering degree. Not knowing the dynamics of his work history he may have gone to work for the company or bought into it. Would need to check bio. He does have his pilot's license, so air cargo go together with land freight.

But his philantropy started with donations to an area college in TN before fronting the Performing Arts Center. The PAC was in conjunction with the building of the new school in what, 2007. The community wasn't behind the PAC at first, even with his help.

You have a few snappy remarks weaved in with your ignorance. Problem is the foundation basis of your argument is completely asinine.

What is my "foundation basis of (my)your argument?" Never heard of that one before smart guy.
.
Somebody said something about Kennesaw's topix threads?? WTF.... Look at Van Wert's thread titles. What a hive of scum and villainy, and that's as nicely as it can be described. Every one of them is straight up bashing and or character assassination.
.
Notice every single Van Wert poster here is so schizophrenic they never use the same screen name, let alone a verified screen name.
.
Ahhhhh yes.... Van Wert chimps are soo much fun to rattle the cage on.

The Sidney depot is hanging on month to month by the skin of it's bricks for an unoccupied structure. There will be a RR club meeting June 9th to determine membership numbers and $ support. With only 17, it's a real challenge to save the depot from demolition.

Take Baxter International for example.
.
http://www.bizjournals.com/mobile/atlanta/blo...
.
They're creating 1,500 jobs at $60k per year average in GA and they're on the receiving end of 80 million dollars in incentives. Or call it corporate welfare, doesn't matter...
.
That's nearly 90 million dollars per year they are pumping into workers pockets locally. State income tax is 5% so that's 4.5 million dollars per year straight up return on investment besides all the tax those people will pay on gas, property, misc. items, sales tax, list goes on and on.
.
At the end of the day, Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama are making the deals it takes to get Baxter, Caterpillar, KIA, Mercedes, BMW, Boeing, Freightliner, Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, list goes on and on. Ohio has the governor that can compete with those three states governors. If you want to go back to the old ways, go right ahead but you're just gonna keep right on sucking the hind tit and losing more electoral votes.
.
Indy, xxx, Don, and Free, sorry you have to hear this again but I'm sure the Van Wert tards will never know unless I tell them Ohio once had 26 electoral votes and its down to 18 and headed for 16..... Georgia has 16 now and headed higher.
.
So Indy, even if it is corporate welfare... It's 1500 more people making 60k per year....
.
If they ain't living in your state, your team might as well just got their ass kicked again in a bowl game by an SEC team.... Just the way I see it.

But come on, 250k to Procter and Gamble to pave a parking lot, and money to Bob Evans and American Greetings to move almost new corporate offices to more affluent areas! How many permenant, high paying jobs did these millions of dollars create

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Scorpio

It's a frustrating and rather disappointing day because you have to cope with delays and setbacks to your plans. A travel arrangement may have to be postponed or there could be a hitch about something connected with education. You're also feeling subdued and tired, and you're longing to spend some time on your own although this may not be possible. Don't worry, this difficult mood will soon blow over.
