Willie found lots of opportunity as a Black carpetbagger from the slums of the Western Addition with its highrise housing projects that propelled him into the state legislature. As a mayor he promoted the worst affirmative action hiring and allowed developers to ruin the skyline.
Anything he touches is corrupt and biased and suspect. The silly fawning old women at Dominican and the pious handwringers in their faculty must love him. I went there for three years and found it to be overpriced and short of support for students. Their degrees are not respected. Save your money and go to College of Marin, you'll get a real education for your money.
