Craig Flemming was a drug user/dealer, just as much as Martin Carlson was...and irregardless i think the use of drugs is a sin not worthy of death as a punishment. How would you know anyone was a drug dealer unless you do drugs yourself or are a cop? you can hear rumors or make assumptions but you know what they say about that, they only make an-ass-out of u-and -me...

I do not believe that he was doing drugs with children, Roy was 20yrs older than Marty so it is pretty doubtfull that his son was even a minor, and are you trying to say that the murderer (Roy) was not under the influence of drugs? To all of you commenting on this I do not believe it is right one way or the other for one person to kill some one like that. I know someone who was on this Jury trial and the photos of Marty will always be in his head, no matter who the person is no-one should ever have to see or go through anything like this regardless of who they are or what they do.

If all drug dealers died today, and there supply was confiscated by police, this would immediately be a better place to live.
Yeah, it is unfortunate that a child has lost his dad, but he will be fine if his family steps up properly. In the end, BETTER OFF DEAD!

Then the police would be selling them. It's not going to stop - the guy that killed him couldn't face the facts that he was a sorry excuse for a father so he used another excuse at the expense of the deceased. That's all. He's over the edge and needs time away to adjust his head.

No One desrerves to die like that. I don't understand why everyone is talking about drugs. Martin was murdered in his frineds home exacution sdtlye and that is all that matters. he was MURDERED. I don't know about the rest of you people but I know that taking out a gun and shooting someone is WRONG. and that is all that should matter. You people don't know martin shut the hell up. LET HIM REST IN PEACE

Sell Drugs to my kids and I will personally enjoy sending you to HELL. IF gang bangers and Drug dealers all died tomarrow we would not NEED the police. Especially if you SHEEPLE would step up and arm yourself, Instead of cowering in the corner. Thats what I really don't understand here, Like 9/11/2001 there are what 10 terrorist and 200 Americans on an aircraft and everybody is such a freaking coward they just sit there and let 'em take over. Terrorist or Dealer its the same to me.
He Was killed because he was a pile of crap, he got what he deserved. Justified Homocide!

It's interesting reading these comments. My guess is that most of them are sent in by people that did not know much about Martin or what happened. It's sad that these things happen.
But, if Martin was a drug dealer somebody filled his place immediately. Another unfortunate reality in today's society.
I'm hopeful that his soul has moved on to a better place, and I would also hope that those who are filled with hate and rage find some peace while they are still alive.
God loves all his children

Martin was my best friend and lover for the last four years of his life. No one knew him better, and you of all people did not know him at all. He was not a drug dealer. He was a human being, a good friend, a wonderful father and more of a man than you will ever be! He had just finished school at Brown College, associates degree in internet technology. So why don't you find something you actually know about to go preaching about...in my opinion people like you are BETTER OFF DEAD asshole.

One thing you said may have a ring of truth to it, that if he would have been carrying his own firearm (illegaly as the murderer was) he may have had a slim chance at taking him out first, and therefore correcting a problem. Craig Flemming is a mentally unstable ignorant fool who made one huge mistake and is not man enough to admit it. He killed the wrong person, and should not have killed anyone at all! No one in his family knew who Martin was so his lame excuses are just that, lame, as are you. Like I said in the post above, find something you know a thing or two about to before you go talking out your ass.

Just to set the record straight...Roy is Martin, the victims, middle name. craig flemming is the murderers name. There has been no jury trial yet except for a grand jury and the members are not supposed to speak about anything they heard or saw during that so....

Also to the rest of you who are judging him on you're ASS-umptions...
There was no drugs found on Martin or in the house where the shooting occured.
There was drugs found in craig flemmings system.

So how can someone who is high on drugs try taking the high road by trying to defend his actions by accusing the victim of doing or dealing drugs when he himself was high? Get a clue people.

Do you honestly think I would comment on something I know nothing about? I live in Lindstrom about 3 blocks away from the house where your precious drug-dealer friend was killed, for about 30 years. I own a local business there in town and know more about the situation than most. I KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON!
SO SHUT YOUR ASS! The "NEW" police dept. needs to get the drug dealers off the street, instead of "speeders" and "jaywalkers" in front of the swedeish inn.

Yes, I do think you would comment about something you do not know about...because you did...You live 3 blocks from the house where my precious boyfriend was murdered, and own in a business in lindstrom? well yeah, what do you fucking want a cookie? Those two things do not make you aware of everything that goes in the community. I agree that the police need to get drug dealers off of the street, another thing they need to do is not jump to conclusions and tell the media things so as to skew the publics opinion on why someone was murdered. Newspapers reported that a piece of drug paraphenalia was found at the scene when in fact it turned out that it was a glue stick and nothing illegal...this is also the reason that in the event of a jury trial the 12 jurors will not hear that Fleming was high on meth at the time he was arrested. Newspapers did not report that a mistake had been made, and the cops did not make sure that it was reported to correct everyones false assumptions...these are all facts that you could have found out yourself if you had made an effort...and I am done with this pointless argument...I hope I am around if you ever lose someone you love to violence so I can piss on their grave and throw my worthless two cents about how little value your loved ones life had just as you have for me, its only right to return the favor right?
