It's about time that Parkway Hospital was shut down. It was a horrible place. Rude and nasty nurses, aides and doctors. Lack of proper medications e.g. correct insulin. Folks were lucky to leave alive!

Wow! I didn't have that experience at all. I thought just the opposite. Possibly the only common factor between the nurses, aides and doctors was you? Smile it uses less energy.

Parkway Hospital served a small region of Queens, it was an oasis. The Emergency Department was always ready, willing and able to help you. The staff was professional, caring and pleasant.

I hope they can rise back from this and continue to remain a pillar of the commuity.

i met dr aquino and mr stewart once, very nice people. where is parkway? the closest hospital by ambulance from and to la guardia airport! this is very important in case of an emergency at the airport! about 500 workers lost there job! this is about $3.5 mil in 39 weeks of unemployment! this is enough money to help the hospital for a year and help Middle America. if we have trillions of $ to help big companies and banks why can't we help Middle America? All the people who write anonym don't publish it! no hospital is perfect!

The community is much safer now that Parkway Hospital has closed. It was once a fine place staffed with caring people, then the Aquino bunch of incompetents and lowlives entered the picture.
Their egoes are larger than their waistlines and ruined a community-based hospital. What a shame. Not to worry, North Shore Forest Hills Hospital happily positioned itself to accept the overflow. Another example of a community suffering due to the negligence of the Aquinos.

I do agree. My mother wwas admitted there and was assigned a room at the very end of the aisle. She would call for help in the evening, and NOBODY RESPONDS at all. It was death sentence having her there. I saw how some nurses, and a certain P.A there would huddle in the nurses' station just rumor mongering. This P.A (an old one, as far as I can remember) I caught one time, sleeping behind the nurse's desk. I asked for direction, and I wasnt heard. I had to wait until senseless conversations were finished.

Parkway and Aquino were a gangster group. if the government let them stay in business all they did was rip off the public and the government. the level of service was low. too many crooks. too many crooks.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
