When are people going to realize that this guy (Boyle) is delusional and a little crazy? If he gets elected, it is only the students and district employees who will suffer.

How odd. Sometimes candidates pay to be on slate mailers and they would be required to report the expenditure. Most often it is an organization that seeks to have certain individuals elected and there is no reporting requirement for the candidate. As long as the slate mailer organizations was properly formed and reported its expenditures, Mr. Lockwood has no obligation to report. This Boyle must be a complete idiot. In any event, he does not deserve anyone's vote.

To Oncle Willie, read the Political Reform Act on the FPPC website. A slate mailer is an in kind contribution and must be report if the candidate had discussion to approve it. The question why did Mr. Lockwood, a stauch Republican get the support of the mainly liberal, Democratic CTA local without any discussion or approval whatsoever, and if he did and did not report it, that would be perjury under California Penal Code 118. As for being an idiot, 74,000 voters did not think so about me and my wife in 2008 and most student I spoke with think I would do a good job cutting waste and opening more classes. Mr. Boyle, as for someone who talks about honesty and stretching the truth, let's remember that those 74,000 votes you received still made you and your wife the two candidates with the fewest amount of votes.

Carly W, I never said that we won, in fact we finished exactly where we were on the ballot position and the winners were on the top of the ballot. In races such as Board of Trustees, at the back of the ballot, three winners were one, two and three on the ballot. We got what we wanted, getting rid of two incumbents and getting John Longville and Jess Vizcaino elected. That my friend is the honest truth. This time I am number two on the ballot behind James Ramos, who has one million dollars of casino money to spend. Again look at our website: www.teachersforachange.biz for the issues that are vital to keep our education system from going under.

Mr. Boyle, I have looked at the issues both on your website and through discussions with people directly related to the college. I am a former student at Crafton and have many friends who attend Crafton and work for the district. I think the feeling is that you do not have a good understanding of how the college systems work and that you lie (possibly not purposely, just ignorantly) about the facts. Surely you understand that the money used for the consultant is not from the same monies that are used for classes. Surely you understand that Dr. Lee, while expensive, is considered by most employees a wonderful value and will likely get the college off probation.

I am hopeful that people will not vote for you based on your position on the ballot. If they vote for you, I hope it is because they agree with your values and politics. But, God help the students and college employees if you win.
