I really believe that the wholesome cultural events that annoy us westsiders should be shared with others in Redlands. I propose moving future raves to Mariposa Elementary School or the dying on the vine Redlands Mall. Why deprive the other citizens of Redlands the simple joy and cultural enrichment of dangerously high volumes of bad techno music and the mountain of debris these fine children leave behind.

Actually the pacifiers are used b/c people get what's called a chatter affect where you teeth keep on chatters so they bite down on the pacifiers in order to give them something to chew on and to keep them from breaking/chipping their teeth...
Get your facts straight before you starting running your news story..

To the previous 2 post.. Ravers are human just like everyone else. I have been raving for years and I sober rave... Don't put a stereotype on me because some people do it. I'm a smart individual and I would a appreciate it if you didn't herd me in with the rest of the group that give us a bad name.

It would be our pleasure if you kept your raving a little closer to your home.

This whole rave scene in Redlands is so stupid. Keep it in L.A. with the best. And if you don't want to pay 40 dollars for a good party, then save up because 5 dollars is going to give you a shitty show with music that sucks. Especially at Pharaohs'. This whole thing makes me laugh.

At first i thought raves were dumb and just a place to do drugs. But i was pulled to one, and it was actually really fun, it was better then parties, thats for sure. Parties you have to drive there and if it gets raded which it is going to then you would have to keep driving around. I love how you can just party at a rave and its all night long. You meet the nicest people there and it doesn't matter if it is in Redlands or La. It matters if you have a good time. The pacifiers are used for chewing. And i guess it is true that raves do bring money. I know La Is going to get loads of money after EDC!:)

For the third time in 6 weeks, a rave at Pharoah's has disrupted the sleep in northeast Loma Linda. I should not be surprised -- for years, the fine leadership of Redlands has sited its high sales-tax, traffic and crime-generating activities at the western border with Loma Linda.

In return, perhaps Redlands will become known as the "rave capitol of the Inland Empire." What a fine distinction that would be! Word has it there are two more scheduled for April.

I do not care about the underage admittance, alleged drug use and sales, or the musical taste. But music heard above eight lanes of freeway traffic is simply disrupting the peace (and my sleep).

"... It also dehydrates you. So the pacifiers keep them from getting cotton mouth."

Is one of the most false comments I've ever read. Pacifiers are used to help with the uncontrolable oral fixation you tend to have when under the influence of mdma.
Which can be helped by taking magnesium. Magnesium is taken to help nerve and muscle functions which i know for a fact that can help control your mouth when "rolling."

matt, gettin stoned and what responsible is talking about are two completely different things.
that night was the best night of my life.
you would know that if you realized that within these parties is a true sense of happiness and selflessness.
a true bonding between kind fellow humans which is rare on this level of purity anywhere else.
people are social and wonderful beings, but i doubt the places you find yourself everyday include thousands of people that will trust you and help you and all around make our increasingly depressed population feel happy and human for once.
there were thousands of cops there, i really doubt you would be much safer walking down the street.
if some people want to be inrresponsible and end up being arrested, fine.
don't make judgements from these what 31 out of 6000.
the world is a beautiful place, or at least it can be.
these are some of the few who embrace it.
love your fellow human.
make friends.
be happy.
that is one of the most precious and important things one can have in a lifetime.

wow thats messed up sperating the e in fiance!!!!! the 41 arrest is just to make a point really noticed how doubled then the last one. the amount of arrest are higher then normal. they only did that because it was there last chance to get us honestly. can i teach you how to Kandi stomp or shuffle its not that hard and it does im not going to lie make it look like its uncontroled but its a controled move lol. next the pacifers is used so you dont clinch and get lock jar get your facts straight buddy! next friday night of course last day to buy presales its going to be $40 if you bought it like right when they went on sale you could of found one for as cheap as $5. next your wrong about you can not find anywhere where to buy tickets at outlets on there flyers you can want me to list all the stores i can. electric chair in riverside, grooveriders in Sherman Oaks, Muisc rev Anaheim and Whitter, DJ Culture Huntington Beach, Street Sounds Hollywood, Dr Freedclouds Fountain Valley, Globe Pomona, and The Brats Store Santa Monica. Water is over charged and more money then most venues.$3 is the typical price and the other venue has running water thats not warm but we cant bring in water bottles into the restroom to refill our bottles. I also agree we do bring in a lot of business to your city!!!

Redlands is (or WAS) a quiet, richly endowed community...a great place to live, raise a family, to go to achool (I'm U of R Class of 1950),enjoy the library, the bowl each summer , visit the parks and the Lincoln Shrine. Its history is unique and its cultural events memorable. It's impossible to see the advantage of staging another "rave" at the Pharaoh or anywhere else! Call me a bluenose if you like...but it just doesn't fit Redlands....
