Nothing will stop this Oscar ballot

As a raging blizzard hit Forest Falls in the San Bernardino Mountains, I frantically filled out my Oscar ballot and asked my neighbor to brave a snow-clogged road to drive me to our local post office, where the postmaster kindly put the soaked pink envelope next to the heater to dry off.
