what a joke. the local office can't handle the traffic they have now. i have not used the marion office since the first time the blonde spiked hair lately treated me like i was a criminal. i have not been back but have seen the lines and its not like that other places

I've not used it since the old guy behind the counter went "wanna-be Highway Patrol" on me...

"You've been driving this long with an expired tag? You mean to tell me you've been on the road? I don't know what we can do about this sir.. I might just have to report you in..."

true, that is exactly how they act. my god they are employees not a law enforcement officer or a judge like they try to act.

i guess the common thread is chuck abernathy? thats the only thing that has been consistent and this garbage continues.

how does a county go about petitioning for removal?

I honestly doubt there will be many people from Rutherford County coming to our tag office in Marion. It's way too easier for them to get on US 74 and drive 20 miles to Shelby. The only exception would be those in Union Mills or Whitehouse Community and odds are they use the Marion office anyway because its a shorter drive.

I don't think there will be a major increase.

Again, Coop, deep breaths, deep breaths. It is none of the male secretary's business how long the tag has been dead. His only concerns are has the vehicle inspected, do you have insurance and if paying by check your license number and correct mailing address. I bet Coop your a young guy because I have seen this wannabe go off on kids with his DMV enforcement attitude. Went to the chuckster over how he treated my child and the chuckster directed me to some keith guy who told me he was a temp from manpower or something. Buckpassing 101. Spike hair wasn't there or I would have went to her first. Easy to understand why he is a temp. As that great Southern American John Boy would say, "My big ole butt" What self respecting man would want that job anyway-oh way someone dying to get a whole arm tatoo and be a city po po just like the one we have who can only be stern with the young and frightened. Its life Coop, those that can DO and those that can't work for us.

i think our tag office just tries to make the process as close to a colonoscopy as possible. it really is far too difficult at our tag office

i still think they should have just shut the marion office down.

question? does the fact keith renfro is the "contractor" for this office mean he receives another income from the tag office as well as being tax assessor?

in the same way Chuck is county manager and meda director; andy is commissioner and social service employee?
