Just wondering what everyone thinks of the new ordinance that the Police Jury wants to pass prohibiting anyone from walking around with their underwear showing? You could be fined up to $500.00 dollars or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both.
What do yall think?

i think it is a great idea. nothing ticks me off more than seeing some hoodlum walking around like that. the last thing i want to see is their asses hanging out. they need to worry about getting a job and acting like a respectable human being. and i am not talking about one race of people. i have seen some white boys doing the same. it is time to grow up and pull your pants up or keep your butt at home and off the streets.

I wonder if this will go for girls and women too. If a girl sits and her thongs are showing because of her low waisted pants and short shirts, would she also get fined? Pull them up boys and girls!

i hope this goes for everyone because if not Al Sharpton may make his way here to make a big deal of it pertaining to race, or the NAACP will file a law suit just like with the LEAP test. Some body parts were just made to keep private.

I really haven't noticed any changes in the kids wearing their pants below their waist....seems like they passed this for nothing....they are still doing what they want to.

They already exist; just not being enforced enough.

Clean up the town and People will Stay in the town. Good to see the citizens support for decent behavior. Now if the law enforcement will just get onboard we can be proud to live in this little river community and call it home.
