The county that we pay taxes to, needs to help us find a
way to repair our road in rural areas. people who only have one way out are at risk.We need to think about saving lives. homes are replacale, lives are not.

This is a great information source for people who live in the hills.
The real problem is the nut heads that do not want the forest floor cleaned of DUFF.
Only three universities in the U.S., at this time have Fire Labs. Humbolt State is the only one in California. They have received a grant for 620,000 dollars to study the best way to clean up the DUFF on the forest floor. Native Americans burned the DUFF in selected areas where it was breaked off. They did this by areas and were very successful at stopping the big blowups that have been happening since 2000. The work that is being done about this is the best thing the Feds and State have EVER done on fighting forest fires.
I do not live in the hills or mountains, but if I did, I would have at least 200 ft of clear space around my home and out buildings. When a fire storm happens like the ones last year, the bigger the clear space the better. When those winds start blowing, and they will at sometime or another, you better have GREAT fire protection or CalFire, you and all your physical items are going up in smoke.
If someone doesn't get the nut heads out of the U.S. Forest Service, that do not want to cleanup the forest floor, massive death and destruction WILL happen and they need to be heald accountable for it!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Cancer

Take things gently otherwise you'll end up running round in ever-decreasing circles. Yes, you may still have a lot to do but you won't achieve very much if you develop butterfingers or waste all your energy on a full-blown panic. Maybe you could rope someone into helping you, rather than doing your Cinderella act in the kitchen while everyone else takes it easy?
