My late father, Robert Taylor, a long time Professor of Journalism at the University of Wisconsin, devoted the latter years of his teaching career to "community newspapers" - hoping, perhaps against hope, that his students might return to their Wisconsin communities and do what the Stewarts have done so long, and so well.

I think he would be sad to read --in print-- about the lost of yet another community newspaper, but delighted to learn that a more accessible alternative has come about -- the Web page newspaper whose type size can be increased to make the newspaper something to be read again by those with limited sight.

Good luck on your new endeavor.
