Analysis: September sales volume in Foothill Ranch was, how else can I phrase it - "disappointing", as the number of sales dropped from 14 homes sold in August to a total of 5 for the month of September. A year over year comparison yields a similar result as there were 16 total sales in September 2009. A more encouraging note (for existing homeowners) is a significant rise in average sale price from September 2009 to September 2010 for detached homes; up from $510,000 to $601,000. While it remains a buyer's market it would be safe to conclude that buyers waiting on the fence are advised to make their purchases in the near future as home values in Foothill Ranch continue a rise to recovery.
