Shot in the eye? Eye for an eye, huh?

So it was bad guy vs bad guy. No bad harm done here. Community wins. Nobody looses.

It's a damn shame how much of our 'good' community, doesn't know how to read.

So, the wife admits that the husband "USE TO" be involved with drugs, and the guys was obviously keeping a firearm in his home. Not that there's anything wrong with this, but, now that we've already established the connection with GUNS and DRUGS, what else could the family be hiding or quite simply, didn't know about Robert? Everyone's been to a Math class before i'm sure, so we all know that 1 + 1 = 2. Sure, what the 4 hoodlums did to this family is inexcusable, and for this they will get what they have coming to them. But, what if it turns out that Robert brought this on to himself and his innocent family and community? doesn't this make him just as guilty? Just a thought....Lets not rush to judgement here guys, its possible that Robert asked for this just as much as the other dead guy did, and if thats the case, we can stop calling him a "victim".

Its easy to leave comments when one is not involved. It is better to reserve ones comments when all one has to go by is the "press" and speculation.

It didn't say he was involved with drugs, like he was a drug dealer or something, it said that he had an addiction & got help for it and was sober 4 years. So if I was a one time alcoholic and years later got in a car accident, that automatically means the accident was caused because I started drinking again? No it just means I got in a accident. Last I heard its innocent until proven guilty & so far there is nothing 2 say this wasn't more then a guy defending his home & protecting his wife! Until something more comes out, that's where it should end.

And so what if he had a gun, the constitution says we have the right to bare arms! Don't u think that if this was a drug dealers home, he would have more then a measly handgun & himself & his wife 2 protect $100k & 60kilos of coke, which is probably worth more then me & u make in a year? No he would have other guys there helping him & they probably would have some type of assault rifles or shotguns themselves.

Common sense & simple math as u put it, the story doesn't add up. Somewhere along the way some bad info on the house was given & all hell broke loose. Read some of the other threads, the guys that broke in, don't even fit 2gether!
The whole thing is messed up!!

"it" didn't say he was involved with drugs, the WIFE said it. And we all know that the wife is going to say whatever will make us think that her husband was the greatest man that ever lived. This means that she would play down and minimize his drug involvement to the point of "well, he did have a teenie, tiny, little METH addiction a VERY VERY long time ago".

And about the guns, I dont disagree with having guns or doing drugs, shit, even I like to get high every once in awhile. But when you do BOTH, it puts a BIG question mark (?) on your character and your intentions for having that gun. For example, I GUARANTEE you that the gun Robert had in his home was not registered to his name. Im just sayin...

Last, I disagree with your comment that a drug dealer of that type would need AK47's, Grenade Launchers, B-52 Bombers, Tanks, and an army of men to defend his 3 bedroom 2 bath home. NEWSFLASH: THATS HOW PEOPLE GET CAUGHT. The new wave of drug dealing has hit suburbia in the form of "hard-working" parents with SUV's and babystrollers.

Exhibit A: What was he doing at home at 9 am when most hard working parents would be at work by then?

Exhibit B: He did have people helping him, remember "Frank the Handyman"?

Your right, this story doesn't add up and there was bad info given. But what if it turns out that the bad info and the part that doesn't add up was that Robert was completely innocent in this?

Well I can't speak of whether he was or not. I'm just saying that just because he had a habit at one time doesn't mean that he's automatically a drug dealer. I still think he would protect stuff more than with a handgun, whether that's with more of an arsenal or more guys helping him, I don't know. I do know from neighbors that the guy worked from home & the wife is a nurse or something & had the day off. She normally wouldn't have been there.

Plus from what I'm told he was having tile work done in the house, so frank the handyman was exactly that. The guy had been doing tile 4 a couple of days.

I'm not saying whether he was innocent or not, I'm just saying right now, there's nothing to say otherwise. Until there is that's all we have to go off of. Ur right he "could've" had stuff or could've been involved with stuff, but we don't have any information to the contrary.

Either way, it doesn't take away from what those guys did, because "what if" robert was innocent. If it turns out he was, then that whole situation sucks!
