A monthly amtrak between Hudson and NYC is $800 what to they to with all that money ? I know it doesn't go towards new trains, or track improvments. The trains in Europe are far better and much cheaper. How about an audit of Amtrak's spending before they get any more money.

Why only Albany? The new Chip Fab plant is in Malta and a large number of those workers will be travelling down from Warren and Washington Counties. Don't be short sighted. Light rail from Fort Edward to Albany would serve a greater number of people who commute.

It's going to cost a LOT more than that!!! Clough Harbor charged the Town of Thurman nearly 1.4 milion dollars for a simple 10'X 40' concrete slab with a simple little roof on it for their train station. Something I would have charged less than 10K for!!
This will be another.. Spend millions on studies...and get nothing done projects like the last high speed train project idea. Good luck with the failed project!!! At least someone will make a killing off it.
