I watched those "lazy" Hispanics build the apartments behind me. They started before sun-up, worked until after sun-down (including weekends all day Saturday and until 2:00 on Sundays), in August, taking only a fifteen minute lunch break.

No Americans short of triathletes could have or would have kept up with them.

Lazy? I don't think so.

Did I mention the same guys did EVERYTHING except wiring?

Hell, a squad of those guys will out perform a platoon of Americans - and a company of unionized Americans.

Once again Moreno you are right about what you say in your post. You, however, did not go far enough and point out just who should be put in prison for breaking the laws. That of course is our federal, state and local government officials who refuse to enforce the law, or prosecute employers who cheat and hire individuals who are in this country and working illegally.

Just another example of our disfunctional corrupt government. Either take the laws off the books or enforce them. Ingoring and selectively enforcing the law is distructive to faith and trust in government. Congress's approval rating is near 10 percent just about what it should be for a bunch of K-Street owned crooks. They are bunch of gutless weasels dominated by Barrack Hussain Obama, who are more concerned about defending the border beteen Afghanistan and Packistan than protecting and defending the U. S. border with Mexico.

So your point? If not in this country legally, r u sayin they don't deserve to be called illegal aliens?

Low paided workers that pay no taxes and receive benefits afforded to tax payers. The ones using the cheap labor are getting the breaks and not passing it on to us. We are picking the tab for benefits, treatment, and often education. Who is the winner in this instance?

What business do you know that has closed because they could not get help? All over Georgia the low salaried aliens have taken jobs and the employer is the beneficary.

I agree that there is a huge immigration problem. That said, those "blood suckers" work circles around your slick talking trash. And they do it without your brand of whining.

If the immigration laws were enforced the cheap labor would not be available, the jobs would be filled by citizens and taxes would be paid. That would have gone a long way on solving some of the unemployment. Jobs for American citizens is not a bad thing. Deportation for illegals is a good thing. What is hard to understand about that?

The problem isn't the Hispanics. The farmers and construction companies I've talked to say the American citizens they hire to work for minimum wage are more interested in taking smoke breaks and talking on their cell phones than working hard. The only way around that would be to pay employees more, which would mean we would pay more for many things like food and new houses. The question that begs asking is if people would be willing to pay the financial price if immigration laws were enforced. You can't have it both ways.

Think I'm lying go visit a construction site, a hotel housemaids office, an amusement park, or ask a rich person who has them as a nanny what they think or see for yourself.
