When it was shared from the very beginning how Charlie was stacking the deck to assure his candidates a win, you guys were'nt paying attention. Now Charlie will receive a 1 million dollar bonus and the city of St. Mary will continue getting screwed. End of story

The $1 million bonus is a claim made by Jay Moreno in his blog. Like much of what Jay says, it is probably just something he imagined and there is no proof.

There's no doubt that Smith is up to his eyeballs in this affair - he's the real-estate attourney for Sea Island. I also heard that he was furious with a local group that protested the relocation. I doubt if we'll ever know the extent of the kick-backs and deal-sweeteners.
