Just Heard this news a few minutes ago & seems to be from a pretty reliable source. Seems the Land @ the old Thikol/Bayer Crop-Science location, which is obviously contaminated, would be a perfect coastal location for a launch site. Imagine the Jobs & revenue this would generate for Camden! I was told to look for it in tomorrows local paper.

I knew we had a bunch of spare rocket scientist hanging around the Waffle House! Hell, many of them hang out here and open their minds to us every day.

That launch site was investigated in 1992. The rocket would have to go over Little Cumberland Island which killed the project.

They heard Jay Moreno lived here so they are coming to Camden county. On the flip side they also will need security for that site and Greory is ot of a job and can drive the security golf car around for them and work the fron gate.

Did Johna Rush honestly just cite a blog as a reference for this article? That blog and a laughable dream from the JDA just cost us taxpayers 25,600 to date for a dream that will never "take off".

No but apparently it is their job to keep Jay Moreno alive. He will deny of course.

Pay close attention to when Mayor Smith piped up. I hope the school system and the County have the good sense to opt out based on the track record of the company. But I doubt it with Charlie Smith and Bill Gross on board.

One need go no further than to read Bill Gross only letter to the editor to get a good understanding of why the entire city of Kingsland is being mortgage to save him. Who has built all of the city buildings in kingdland as of late? Who was.slated to build up exit 3 if the voters had fallen for yet another bad idea.

How long has it been since Gross property was in the paper for back taxes? Nice to have an entire County bracing you up!

It is their contractual obligation. I fully performed my obligations under the contracts with the governemnt and my employer. Now they have and are performing theirs. Simple, really.

Okay if Florida is paying $9.19 per hour, minimum wage and Georgia is paying $7.75, why would employees want to work at the mega-plex coming to Kingsland?
