I also grew up with Tim and I saw that he was mentally unstable years ago. The "buddy" who defends him so much is probably one of his family members- everyone who grew up with Tim saw his alcohol abuse, girlfriends abuse, and yes mood instability. He is a scary man- and there is NOTHING that should cause a sane man to take a gun to his wife with 2 of his kids watching- come on- this is someone you boast about being friends with-

So what's preventing the "buddy" from giving us the "other side of the story"? The guy threatened to kill his wife, could have easily killed the police officers and others when he ran his vehicle into them. So let's hear the justification for that.

The "buddy" doesnt want to say that in February Tim was charged with 2 more felonies due to this altercation. The police are saying they feared for their lives. The truth is he should go to jail for a long time and instead he will end up found insane- like thats not true- but when does it become ok to hold a gun to your wifes head when 2 of your children are standing and watching terrified????
But in the world of Tim Mickle anything is acceptable-
If only everyone knew him for who he truely is.

Well the trial is on let's see what happens now. My question is is what does AWIID's story have to do with this? The others at least are for the most part about the incident. I think he will do time and get his hand slapped. Judge trial should be over fast and I hope justice is done.

Criminals-
Ham Lake couple facing felony tax charges
St. Paul, Minn.– A Ham Lake couple faces felony tax charges in Anoka County, the Minnesota Department of Revenue announced today. William Peter McCann, 65, and Patricia Mary McCann, 63, both of 14101 Coral Sea St. N.E., allegedly filed false individual income tax returns from 2003 through 2005.

During a department investigation, it was discovered that from 2003 through 2005 the defendants allegedly received over $140,000 of taxable income that was not reported to the State of Minnesota.
According to the complaint, the McCanns owe the state at least $9,750 in income tax for those years. A full formal audit has not been completed.
William McCann allegedly admitted that he had been doing remodeling jobs since 2002 and had received $25 an hour, even though he is not a licensed contractor in Minnesota. He admitted to running a lawn sprinkler service for the past four years as well. The income he received from both of these jobs was not reported on the couple’s tax returns.
Patricia McCann allegedly acknowledged that she knew her husband was involved in remodeling and construction projects, and that the money was put into their checking accounts, but was not reported on their individual income tax returns. She also admitted to failing to report that she had received $225 per week for house cleaning services since April 2003.
Each felony count is punishable by a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.
The Minnesota Department of Revenue is dedicated to enforcing tax laws, collecting no more and no less than taxpayers owe. The department takes progressively stricter measures against taxpayers who demonstrate that they will not voluntarily meet their obligations.
I knew him when he managed the wave pool in minnesota - always thought there was something going on -

Again these posts are about Mickle not McCann's doings post that stuff in it's own blog. So how is it going Mr. Mickle. Bet this week is one not likely to be forgotten. You deserve time for what you did. And, some professional help. Then a long work release type of program so you can pay restitution and pay for your family needs. Remember killing oneself is especially rotten to the future mental health of your children. So get help. Putting a gun to someones head is inexcusable in a domestic dispute. And, in front of kids. Why didn't you walk away? Why did you even have a gun? Get help but I hope you also do the time for the crime.

Has anyone found info into what is happening in court???? Did the families last ditch effort to find old high school friends to write letters to the judge work???
I hope they were able to bring in those letters so his abuses from those same high school days could be used as well- open that can of worms Mickle family- many of us are waiting.

I don't care what a person does, it never deserves this type of reaction. Hometown girl seems to know him well. Maybe she is one of the recipients of those letters. I don't know. Mickle's sentencing isn't for over three months. Three months his wife and kids have to be worried and nervous that he is out there doing exactly what he wants when he wants to. I can't imagine the stress on his wife and kids. Plead guilty to two carges of assault and one assault charge for one of the police cars he hit. Go figure.

outraged-
Tim Mickle and his family will do anything to try to make his actions seem rational.
Tims wife and kids are innocent bystanders in this. She is a very good person who has been attacked and beaten and threatened by the man who is her husband and now she has to pick up the pieces for their kids and try to make sure they have food to put on the table and a house to live in. Tim's wife and kids are VICTIMS here. Allowing Tim to plead down to 3 counts is a travesty of our court system and I pray he has had all of his guns taken away from him. I hope we dont have to go to a funeral because he was left on the street. There is nothing his wife could ever do to deserve a gun to her head, no matter how much his family says he was justified.

Hometown you are right nothing she did could ever justify what he did! His family is as dumb as he is to blame her for any of his problems. He has always been a bit different. Big mouthed and prone to do stupid things since he was young. Good thing he quit drinking or this would have ended differently.

knew them- I bet we know each other. Growing up in a small town and seeing how much Tim got away with.
The sad part is Tim's wife has to wonder daily if he is going to show up in the cities and try to hurt her or the kids, I am sure those kids are being "coached" by Tim's family in how this was all her fault.

Did he get his sentence yet. A little time would do him good. I wonder if he reads this. Maybe someone should send him a copy of this blog to read while doing his time. He better get some time. Must be getting to him a little(the wait to see what he gets). They said he would be back in court on Memorial Day. I'm sure that was wrong. Anyone know when and what he got or will get? He seems to live somewhat of a "charmed life" getting off easy on all he has done.

Funny the local "little town papers" haven't reported this story. I think the readers near the canadian border would like this story.

Anyone hear about what he got for pleading guilty. Can you imagine what it is like for his children. This must have changed their lives forever. I hope the children are able to get through this mess and each one live a normal life. What was he thinking?????? What he did is next to the dumbest thing that could have been done. One step away. He should get time to mull this over and see if that can change him.

I have heard he will be sentenced this week. His sister works for one of the local papers and no one would DARE put his crime in them. Small town politics are brutal.
His kids will be fine because his wife ( soon to be ex-wife) is a great mother! They are getting therapy and she will keep them safe.
Tim has been hiding out up in Soudan, very few have seen him and hopefully this has given him a wake up call into what is an acceptable behavior. WE can only hope.
I truely am glad I dont live up there because if I ran into him I have a feeling I couldnt be very nice.

ok- so the case has been put off until August.
He once again was trying for the slap on the hand but the prosecution has his number.
I hope this one time he is made to pay.
