DO NOT take your children here. On a recent family vacation my horse Strawberry, had been calm the whole ride until the end, then in a split second I was thrown up into the air due to the fact my horse had bucked the horse behind it many times. Luckily, no one was injured. All the horses are terribly taken care of. After Strawberry finally stopped bucking, I asked many times to be let off, but they ignored me until my little sister(11) insisted on them getting me off first, before her. This was one of many problems that happen during our 30minute ride.

Had a very nice experience! No issues at all. Very nice, clean and safe. Took my 13 year old son for his first ride. Good for first time riders. Not for someone looking to really "ride"/control the horse. The horses we had were calm and appeared to be very well taken care of. We will go back.

A friend of mine whose wife owns, trains, teaches and shows Quarter Horses does not ride horses--at all! He does ride motorcycles and told me that anyone is a fool to ever ride something with a brain. Keep this in mind the next time you want to become a cowboy. Horses have a brain the size of a Walnut--does that tell you anything?

My motto as a trainer, rider, and caretaker of beautiful horses is: there are no problem horses, but only problem riders! and by the way horses are not fluent in English so if you are going to have anything to do with horses learn a little horse!

Maybe there are no 'problem horses' but any horse can get excited for any number of reasons just like humans can and do. You ride a horse you take your chances that a snake doesn't cross your path right in front of you or you just might get bucked.

I have worked here and the horses are or while I was there were very well taken care of. We would take in horses from shelters and sometimes they did not look there best until being there for a bit. I have ridden every horse there and my three year old has ridden many with me. I agree with whoever stated above about learning about horses before riding. If you can count the number of times you have ridden you do not know about riding. They are animals. No matter how "broken" or "spook proof" they are, things happen all the time. They majority of trouble I ran across was from ignorant riders. Not the horses. This stable is the safest around when it comes to children.

We took our 3 grandchildren to Seahorse Stables today. Slowpoke, Strawberry, and Athena were all very gentle and appeared to be well taken care of! Our Grandchildren had a Great time riding and we will definitely go back! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! Overall a truly enjoyable experience!!!

I've gotten the same report from some visiting relatives. Sounds like a great thing to do when in town.

In response to Cassidy,

Horses are animals, NOT bicycles. They can be unpredictable no matter where you go or how gentle they normally are. If a bee stings one on the butt, it can react just as we would by running n bolting or acting crazy. Trail horses put up with a lot of stupid people on a daily basis.... people who are ignorant to how you should properly steer a horse and others that yank on their mouths and kick them too hard because they want to feel like cowboys. Trail horses are chosen with safety and willingness as a primary prerequisite, but they are living beings, meaning that they cannot be predictable 100% of them time. Even the nicest person on the planet will have an off-day once in awhile. More than likely, it was whoever was riding behind your horse that caused it to buck. Just as you probably don't like people invading your space, horses don't care for another horse's nose up their butt either, pushing it to go faster. There's a reason that every stables requires in the U.S. requires you to sign a liability waiver. Horses are animals and hence can be unpredictable..... period.

You've gotta be smarter than the horse you're riding.

Perhaps Cassidy would be better suited on the electronic horse carousel at the mall.

Do not waste your money here. Ride was 15 minutes instead of 30, horses were not properly taken care of, they gave no direction, offered no helmets, did not adjust stirrups, and let they're horses gallup into the rundown stables.
