Woman assaulted girl who ate potato chips, police say

LYNN TOWNSHIP A 47-year-old woman was so upset that a 16-year-old girl ate her Pringles potato chips and tuna that she attacked the the girl at a Lynn Township apartment last week, state police at Fogelsville said.

The article doesn't say, what was the connection between these people? Was one of the girls Frenskys' daughter, were they just neighbors or whatever and drinking together, or? Yes, 16 year olds CAN be a pain, but cuts and bruises would seem to indicate something more than just snacking a kid because she ate some chips. Maybe there's a bit more to this story?

Perhaps it would be good, generally speaking, if bigger people beat smaller people when they disobeyed them or just felt like it. For instance, while it's obviously a great idea for a grown woman to beat a teenage girl because she is bigger than her, let's not forget it makes just as much sense for a man to beat a woman when she disobeys him. I think we can all agree that teaching our children that violence is OK if you`re bigger and stronger than your victim is a great lesson.

And hippie nonsense like this is exactly why our country has become a joke around the globe. While other countries are teaching their kids the same lessons we used to teach, we're turning ours into video game playing, whiny little cream puffs with a sense of entitlement.

Sometimes kids DO need a smack in the head or on the rear end. It's called PARENTING and until recently, it's done a great job of teaching kids to grow up into responsible adults. I'm 33 years old and even I can see the country is going to crap because of all the children who've grown up to think the world owes them so much.

To be clear- in the case of this woman, I don't condone her beating the girl which she was in a drunk rage. There's a difference between appropriate discipline and angry retribution.
