Suspect told police shooting was self-defense

Joshua Jonathan Hairston said he emptied his pistol into Sean Michael Neumann because Neumann came after him, a sheriff's investigator testified Thursday.

i think this was self defense and i think this young man deserves a chance

i think this young man deserves a chance because the way this case sounds, it's sounds like this case was self-defense and the guy that got killed was just as liable as Joshua was.

I don't understand why the young kid sitting on the couch (Joshua) even got involved. The entire verbal conversation took place with Dwayne Hairston NOT Joshua...Joshua was on the couch. Dwayne "walked out the from door and heard gun shoots behind him...kept walking". How is that self defense. He should go to jail for life since he took a life. What is an 18 year old doing with a .357 anyway? Looking for trouble

I WANT TO ASK THE PARENTS OF THIS KID (JOSHUA)WHAT THEY THINK SHOULD HAPPEN TO HIM!!! AND WHAT IS A KID DOING WITH A .357????? HE LIED WHERE IT WAS! HE RAN! This is my brother.....if any of you knew josh you would know the kind of person he is....yes an 18 year old shouldnt have a gun an yes he took a life and he is paying for that now....i am deeply sorry for the family of the victim...but our family were also hurt...if my brother wouldnt have defended himself he would be dead 2day...and as to the (Fry) in the USA my parents of course want justice...wouldnt you???....My brother is a great father to his 2 daughters and the one twin that died after birth...HE IS THE GREASTEST BROTHA ANYONE COULD HAVE...AND I THANK GOD EVERYDAY 4 GIVING HIM 2 ME...So everyone has their own opinions...MY BROTHA IS INNOCENT OF THE FIRST DEGREE MURDER CHARGE...IT WAS SELF DEFENSE...FEEL HOW YOU WANT...i LOVE YOU JOSHUA!!! He'll get his chance in 40 years. He could have had a chance if he just walked out the door instead of unloading his gun.

I do know josh... i know josh VERY well met him 2 and a half years ago, and i kno for a FACT that he would not harm anyone unless someone was trying to harm him. Ya kno i believe everybody deserves a second chance; i jus wanna kno would any of you be speaking so badly about sean micheal neumann if he would've killed josh...probably not!!
