It is very unfortunate that these kids are even put in this situation. It's not their faults, and coaches need to respect their decisions if they choose to walk at graduation instead of participate at State. This issue has caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety and turmoil for many athletes. The kids should not be made to feel guilty whatever their decision might be. Why wasn't something done about this sooner?
