Someone has to shut down the CPS. They have ripped off our grandson and falsly accused our daughter of being a fit parent. They have emotionally abused this 6 year old child by taking him away from his Mother when there was no neglect and the child is proof of this. The Mesa Arizona CPS are insanely demanding our daughter who has disablilites to go to all these tests and if the test comes out good for her, they require another agency to run one. I have never in my life seen such abuse to take a little child who loves his Mother away and make him a ward of the court. These CPS people have too much power and they are ripping out our children daily and the damage they are doing will be found when the children get of age. They are ruining our chldren by breaking up the family. They need to be stopped! What is this world coming to. Our grandson can't even talk to his grandparents for heavens sake and not even to his Mother. The CPs needs to loose this attitude that they are the law. They are taking away the family rights to be with the children. I can see it if there is a child being left uncared for or not fed, but a good little boy has been stollen away. His name is Jeidun..He is 6 and goes to Superstition Springs Ele. School but his Mother is not allowed to be with him at school this year. CPS have slandered our daughter's name. CPS should never take a perfectly healthy little child away from a Mother that has done such a good job. Wow...is this really the United States of America...if so then CPS is an illegal branch doing illegal ripoffs of children. Please stop the madness and return the little children to their Mommies.

I am a grandmother who is involved with CPS because of my grandchildren. They were taken into their custody when my daughter was arrested for kidnapping them from their custody. After CPS had my grandchildren they would not allow anyone to see or talk to them, and from anyone in their family. I was told no one was allowed to talk to them or see them they kept them from any contact with anyone they knew. They were crying every night and acting out. I know this because the lawyer who is supposed to be for their best interest said this when we went to court. The judge asked the case worker Casey why we could not see them; she said there was no reason why we could not so he ordered them to set up a visit soon. This is after three weeks the kids have gone without any emotional support from their family. The purpose of cps is to reunite families why does it take a court order for them to do the right thing them knowing the emotional stress the children are going through. We are still waiting to get them home they are doing our background checks. We see them once a week for a supervised visit for one hour. We are not allowed to say anything about them coming home to the children. There is something wrong with this system. Who can you complain to about them coming home? They want to come with us but they can’t. They also told me there is no use going to the custody hearing that it would not do any good. It is no wonder alot of parents do not show up for these hearing. They are stealing children from good families.My two grandson ages 4 and 7 are in there custody hopfully we will get them back after the back ground check. The judge has ordered it. These people have lied and treated us like we are criminals. They need someone to answer to for there actions.

You don't have to move to AZ. My brother was murdered in 2001 in Nevada. His girlfriend and 2 children remained in Nevada. In 2003 there was a wrongful death suit filed on behalf of the children. A doctor and wife filed a private petition for dependency for these two kids in az. A judge declared them wards of the state, issued a pick up order and had them removed from NV and brought to AZ. The grandparents were registered as "next of kin" in NV but AZ didn't even contact them. We found the children 6 weeks after they were placed and have been fighting ever since. Couldn't even be made a party to the case. According to AZ Law you can only file a PPD on an AZ resident or found in the state! WRONG! I have documentation to PROVE everything I have stated. They let them adopt them in 2007 which we are still fighting. We did pass a homestudy in 2005. All they are doing is stalling you. DON'T LET THEM DO IT. My daughter was taken aside at her school to be questioned because of a false statement or claim made by my ex room mate. I hope everyone knows that anyone that makes a false claim about your children and can prove it, should press charges due to harassment under section 13-2921 the harassment law. A person commits harassment if with intent to harass or with knowledge that the person is harassing another person.
1. Anonymously or otherwise communicates or causes a communication with another person by verbal, electronic, mechanical, telegraphic, telephonic, or written means in a manner that harasses.
2. Continues to follow another person in or about a public place for no legitamate purpose after being asked to desist.
3. Repeatedly commits an act or acts that harass another person.
4. Surveils or causes another person to surveil for no legitimate purpse.
5. On more than one occasion, makes false reports to law enforcement, credit or social service agency.
6. Interferes with deliver of any public or regulated utility to a person.

This is a class 1 miss demeaner.

This Child has the right to ask for a Lawyer, But "She" has to do it. and she needs to keep saying it, Call the police, scream it out, untill she gets one. The lawyer is for her, not her parents or CPS. Children have rights to.

CPS of Mesa, Arizona need to have a congressional investigation. When a child has not been neglected nor has any sign of neglect, they should not come in and rip the child from their home in the middle of the night because an unwed father continues to call and ask for welfare checks. This is insane. Our grandson has been taken away from a loving Mother with no sign of abuse to the child and after 15 months, our daughter is still trying to get him back. CPS has forced her to go to numerous doctors and running her down that road of "mental" and forcing her to take drugs to get her child back. In the best interest of the child is not happening as the child has pleaded to come hom and be with his Mother again. CPS not only has ruined a Mother's life and turned it upside down but the child has also suffered and both have been thrown into counseling because of what the CPS has done. They should leave a child who has not been abused in the home. They should offer programs if they feel it a need but ripping a child from a home...NO. They have too much power and they love to use it against you. All I can say is someone has to do something about the Mesa, Arizona CPS. Talk about spending. For each child they take away it is costing 70 grand a year. Where is this money coming from? If they don't get kids, they don't have jobs. It is a sick feeling to have witenessed this CPS abuse. Laws need to be made...Papers need to hear the stories and senators need to see and hear and reform needs to take place in the CPS in Mesa, Arizon. Set the children free..back to their Mothers and not victums of Juvenile Court which is a circus. This is not to help the children as the children are showing that they have to go to counseling..They begin bad behaviors and wet the bed and strike out in the only language they know to try to return to their Mothers. Bring them home someone with the power!

Personally I think CPS is doing a WONDERFUL job. I have seen children that have been taken out of there homes due to neglect and children that have been taken to CPS voluntarily. You would be amazed how well these children have done since they are no longer in that home or with a parent that some you seem to think are a "good parent". I have lived in AZ for 4 yrs and have never had any issues with CPS because I am truely a good parent. Unlike some of these parents that boast they are so wonderful, when in fact if you watch them with there children (as I have) they are not fit in any way to have their children returned to them. I have first hand knowledge of a few of the foster homes these children will go to in AZ. And let me tell you 95% of the time.. they are MUCH BETTER OFF THERE. So don't let ticked off grandparents or parents fool ya. I have seen them in action myself and it can be quite a show they put on for people that are watching. But when alone with the kids.. they pay attention to one child but not the other (unless they are forces). Some of these children that have had children, need parenting classes to help them. And if they would DO what they are suppose to DO to get their children back, then I would be for it 100%. But most of them have showen they have NO desire to take the initiative to do what needs to be done to get their children home. I wish all the parents that have children in CPS lots of luck in getting their parenting classes, any testing, finding a job, finding a place to live.. etc done that they need to do. I feel that a child does need to be with their parent as long as that parent shows they following the set guidelines (which are not unreasonable) to get their children back. Which by the way I have SEEN a parent do what ever it takes to get them back. And keep things up so they NEVER loose them again. How many of you on here can say that.

I am having trouble with AZ Cps. I had lost contact with my son when he went to jail and I moved. I found him after six years of searching and found I have two grandchildren whom cps took. My son told them about me when they were taken and that he did not know how to locate me. They could through their resources. But didn't. I found him march 2009. cps wasn't calling me or my advocate back, in aug. finally talked to cps supv who told me my grandchildren were to be adopted by the foster parents. I was never given a home study. now it is sept 2009 and they give me a home study which I passed just waiting for background to come through. I start classes. They switched judges since I wrote to alot of people including the atty gen and gov. who aren't doing a hill of beans for me. I wrote to two newspapers in az and I wrote, emailed and my advocate called and wrote to 3 on my side. Nothing. Sept14th the adoption is set to take place. I am to do a conference call along with my advocate to the court. What happened to the family first rule. They tell me my grandchildren are mentally damaged. I want and outside ruling on that.

As long as the legislation is handing out millions of dollars of Funding each year, They will be going out of their way to Spend that Money, Overtax those resources, and Prove that they are relevant. Otherwise if they just sit back and do nothing cause there is nothing to do, they wont spend as much in that given year and the Legislature will start wondering if they really need that much anyways. So they Over Scrutinize each case, and bring in every expert that is on their staff to make their dime on these poor kids that are VICTIMS of the SYSTEM. ALL JUST TO PROVE THEIR RELEVANCE AND GET THEIR BUDGET BOOSTED THE NEXT YEAR OR TO JUSTIFY THEIR GROOSE OVER SPENDING.
