Murder Trial For Georgia Dentist Set To Begin; Family Of Dolly Hearn Reacts

Jury selection begins on Thursday for Gwinnett County dentist Barton Corbin. Corbin, who had a dental practice in Dacula, is accused of killing his wife, Jennifer, in the head at their Buford home in the early hours on December 4th, 2004.

First. The Hearn family can thank all the media for getting Dr Corbin to court. Our DA Mr Porter always gets busy on the cases the media jumps on. Camera's bring trials in Gwinnett you know. Nothing will attract our prosecutor like the media. Doesn't seem to matter ,if they're guilty or not,did anything or not. Camera time is all that matters.

Second.. Of course they released a movie on A & E or USA about it. That could damage the appeal process if he's found guilty. It would be easy to argue that "Its been all over the television" would create a bias. Just a thought.

Your comments are disgusting. We now know that a murderer pleaded guilty 2 killing his wife, which opened up the case of his murder of a girlfriend 14 years before. All of this was due to the hard work of the district attorney. You sit back and chew on pretzels and watch the tv you claim the prosecutor is so in love with while he goes out and does the painstaking work to convict a serial murderer. The third death attributed to him is still being investigating. You must be embarrased by all the people who will now see your comments and know that people like you are what inhibits proper criminal investigation. Thank God Porter doesn't watch as much tv as you.

I'm not embarrassed at all. Someone pleads guilty and everything ok? They worked real hard ? Nice world you live in. You still didn't speak to what I wrote about. Its the high profile cases that get his attention. He lets people get away with major crimes because they do not splash onto the news. It would surprise me if your not Porter, or a friend of his using a fake screen name just to pathetically defend your/his actions. But either way you've proven to be nothing more than a tool in his corrupt little game. You see I know what he is. I do not have to guess at anything.
