They called and said they had ""repaired" the rear bumper of my car when in fact they did not. The hump was still there that pushed the plastic strip up off of the bumper. We noticed all they had done was put extra glue to hold the stip down and repaint it. The worst part was they had already been paid by StateFarm Insuranace. When we called and told them, they argued with us and said to bring it back in and they would fix it. When doing so, I was told they could have it repaired in about 30 minutes and would call me when the plastic strip arrived which would be in about 24 hours. That was over 3 weeks ago and I had to call them. They have yet to call me back. I would NEVER recommend having a car repaired at Pro Care Collision in Flwoer Mound,TX off of FM 407. I don't know who to feel sorry for more, myself or the nice lady that hit me and had to pay for the non repair.

Be sure to let State Farm know this so they won't use them any more.

Thanks for the warning.

Ralph,

Your car sat at another shop for close to two weeks before we ever saw it. You were given updates on what was going on with your vehicle on several occasions. You were never "lied" to, you just couldn't accept the truth regarding the status. And yes, the insurance was called out for supplements on your vehicle. It was a 13k repair with over 80 plus parts replaced and around 85 hours of labor, hence this was not a small job. I did credit you $250 off the $500 you were responsible for because of your concerns. You didn't even acknowledge that I had done this. Thanks for the public post instead of calling me directly.

Cindy,

Unfortunately there are times when the step pads don't stay down when they are re-applied. We are required to re-apply them instead of replacing them unless there is physical damage that can be seen. This is true on any part. It is just standard industry protocol. I wish it would have pulled up prior to delivery, then you wouldn't have had to deal with it.

I did speak with Kenny and yes we did fail to call you when the part came in. That was our mistake and I apologize for any inconvenience that it caused. On another note, we paid for that part and did not charge that out. I hope that all is well with the repair and as with all things we do we stand behind our work with a lifetime warranty. We appreciate your business.

I have used Pro Care Collison and I was very happy with them. They were very professional and did a great job.

People make mistakes and a good business can do a bad repair on occassion. I'm glad to see the owner is conscientious enough to respond to the complaints.

I would use Pro care again without hesitation.

I uses Pro Care with my hail damage about 8 months ago. I would with no doubt go back and let them work on my car again. There quote was about 800 less than anyone else and they did a great job. When I went to pick up my car, they explained everything they did and that they were waiting on parts that were back ordered but should be due in shortly. When the parts arrived
they installed the parts and everything went well.

I have had a issue with my car and truck for sometime. I have a 70's model Trans AM all original with 60k having mulitple issues. Not only did they fix them all, Procare charged me fairly. I wanted quality work done to my car and they delivered, on time and on target. I was so impressed with the work I brought my truck to them as well. The truck was in a wreck and the door was never properly aligned. The truck made a wind whistle going down the road. The paint on the door was chipping from the original repair, not done by procare. I had simply accepted that my truck was repaired incorrectly and I would have to live with it. Procare aligned the door on the first attempt. It took three attempts by the original repair to get me to the unacceptable current level. Additionally, the paint is great and has been for over a year. I would recommend this shop to anybody.

I took my 93 Mustang to Pro Care Collision about 4 years ago. It was in pretty rough shape. I spoke with Kenny (the manager) and he gave me a quote that was a little cheaper than most, but I was impressed with the type of cars they were working on and the quality of the work done. I trusted my car with them and they painted the entire vehicle to perfection. I would highly suggest Pro Care Collision to anyone.

I have had my wife's Lexus and my kids Mustangs fixed at Pro Care over the past 7 years. They diid a complete pearl white paint job on the Lexus to perfection and matched the dark green paint on a 5 year old mustang to a T. Have also dropped in for the odd scuff repair and they have been very helpful and done great work.

I have had the guys at Pro care do some matching work with some motorcycle body parts that I had. They did great work on those. I also had a carbon fiber part that was discolored so I asked them to sand and clear coat it. After 4 coats, they said they were not happy with the porosity (cf is hard to clear coat because of this) and did not charge me even though I was satisfied with the job they had done.

My wife was rear-ended in her Nissan and my first thought was to take the car there because of the good customer service I'd experienced before. Some of the posts Ive seen caused me a little concern. Then I saw Kevin's responses. Always three sides to a story.

Anyway, I look forward to posting some positive feedback for ProCare. I like keeping things local if I can.

I've used them twice in the last 10 or 15 years. They did a great job and only took a few days.

They had to re-quote one job, but the reason was obvious: There was no way to see everything that was damaged until they removed the bumper cover - duhhh.

My husband took my car to this shop. What a mistake.
The lack of communication, the poor customer service and no one ever seems to know what is going on. I have taken my car to my insurance inspection shop and have a report to show the poor quality of work. If the owner ever returns my call I would like to go over this with him.

Well, it's been a while since we had the work done but my wife said pregnancies are similar to auto accidents... It's still the same car(body) but it just doesn't feel exactly like it did before!
Anyway!
The car was fixed nicely and all in working order, color matched, etc. The only 'glitch is that the trunk doesn't shut as easily as it did before. It shuts easily, just not AS easily.
Over all, I've been pleased with their service both for my motorcycle parts and my wife's car.

My name is Kenny and I am the manager of the shop. I am not familiar with who you are or what your issues are. I am not even sure that your car has ever been to our shop because if an insurance company had a major issue with any of our repair work they would notify us and no such event has taken place. Please call the shop and ask for me so that we can get you taken care of.

I have used Pro Care collision on four different occassions and I must say that they do outstanding work there. Further, I have recommended their shop to others that were very satisfied with their work.

Kevin, the owner, is as professional as anyone I know in this business and takes customer satisfaction very seriously. He will work with you you to make sure your car is right and you are fully satisfied.

I took a Mercedes to have the interior door handle fixed. It had come loose at the point where you grab to close it from the inside. They told me it would be a few hundred dollars to have it replaced. What he did right there and then was get his tech out, they sanded and glued it back together and I was out the same day. Total amount they charged me?$0.
Needless to say I've been back more than once after that and can't say enough good things about these guys!

I just found this website and wanted to make a comment. Kevin and Kenny are top-notch guys who do a superior job in their shop. I only live a few hundred yards from their business and have had to take vehicles there on numerous occasions. My wife and son's cars more recently were damaged by hail and the restoration was like out of the factory and ahead of the timeframe they gave me for the fix! I have recommended their shop to local friends who have also found complete satisfaction with their work as well. I had a stuck backseat shoulder harness a few months ago and didn't have the tool to fix it and stopped by Procare. Kenny got the tool and fixed it in less than 5 minutes, of course at no charge. Great guys, great shop, quality work. They will always have my recommendation and thanks for being such good neighbors for so many years. Thanks guys!

The work is great, they make it look brand new, no doubt.
But my god, it took 1 month for them to order a few body parts, then another month to put the Body parts on which are all straight bolt off and on, and then when it was due the end of the week, they'd push it to that next Monday, this then they'd say the next day, this happened about 7 times. Half the says I just gave up calling and they didn't even call to tell me they kept it for another day.

Work quality is great
Just way to slow.
