Man rescues friend from swimming pool, then flees

An Orland man's life was saved Friday after he nearly drowned, because a friend pulled him out of a swimming pool and resuscitated him.

This could have happened to anyone that's hanging out at the pool, having cocktails with friends, trying to enjoy life and keep cool on a hot day - just like lots of people do. WHAT A CRIME! I'm pretty sure that the part that got everyones panties in a bunch was the mention that they were parolees. Someone please tell me what is it about that that makes people think that's their ticket to pass judgement on others and circumstances that they know NOTHING about.

Sounds like they violated their parole. They had to understand the conciquences for their actions, and probably didn't give a damn. Are these two employed? Do they have families they are responsible for? Sitting around the pool, drinking and "enjoying life" what a crock, too bad these two boobs didn't both drown and do us all a favor.

Parole-the conditional release of a person from prison prior to the end of the maximum sentence imposed. The operative phrase is "Prior to the end of the maximum sentance imposed" that means they are let out with the deal that they will follow certain rule or be sent back to finish out the sentance. If they can't follow the rules then they should be sent back. Glad to see though that he is ok and didn't drowned.
