Did anyone hear that loud airplane jet noise last night? Wonder where that's coming from?Could it be from Scott Air Force Base?

It's probably the same noise that was talked about the last few weeks under the thread titled "Strange noises last night."

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa.
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!
To the happy home, with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haa!!!

It is Boeing Aircraft building new military air craft and testing new planes and engines.

It is the sound of jobs, the sound of money, the sound of good things.

If that sound goes silent, this area will be hurting.

I always loved that song. Haven't heard it in years. It would make a great campaign song for Lowery.

If it's the sound of money and jobs then no noise no matter how loud would bother me. That would be fantastic if they were bringing jobs here. St. Louis doesn't have the best name, and people are afraid to move here because of all this darn crime going on. Hope the bad name thing dies down and the media talk about the good that's going on here in St.Louis.

I hope they are going to build some more padded rooms for our friend from OFallon who seems delusionally happy to have a home to go to where there are trees and flowers and signing birds that crap on peoples heads, and basket weavers signing songs of joy and they will be there pretty soon to take you away my friend.Smile and keep signing songs with the birds.Sing the red red robbin song, that's always enjoyable to listen too.....Have fun my friend they will be coming to take you soon to your happy place! LOL Have great day!!!!!!!!!!

Last week it was reported that St. Louis has moved up from number 2 to number one as the country's unsafest city to live. St. Louis knocked Camden, New Jersey out of 1st place as the most dangerous city in the United States.

This is one of many reasons the city wants to merge with the county. With the merging it would dilute the murder statistics of the city and move them lower on the list of most dangerous cities in America.

Who gives a fark? Don't go into the city and you'll be just fine. Better yet, get a CCW permit and shoot any monkey that looks at you the wrong way.

So does that mean that EAST ST.LOUIS would also be included in that merge? And are we not lot 4 times higher than the national average in crime now?
